Got my first box today, went to my local card shop and the guy didnt have anything new and i felt like spending money so i picked up one box of POA update for 45 dollars and here was my outcome.

thanx a lot you guys. i was pleasently surprised, especially it being my first potter box. im more of a LOTR and CatCF collector almost completed my ROTK master set, all i need is a PJ auto:rofl:. But i was curious, what were the odds on pulling inserts in POAu?  |

Oh not nearly so many as in PoA. PoAU wasn't too bad for that, but any box you got an auto in you did generally get 2 other items in as well.

My main goal for the potter card sets was to get the gary oldman auto which i got on ebay for a bin of 130 which i think is reasonable and to get all the creature cards out of POAu, so i think im doin pretty well so far. I cant stray too much becuz i stil need to finish my CatCF set, all i need know is wrapping paper, golden ticket, and a depp auto  yup thats it.  |

I guess Julie and I got lucky with POA. 5 cases 4 Emmas. 2 Oldmans and 3 Gambons. I know and a partridge in a pear tree. We did better with autos than props Our best was a Black Pepper Imps. |

Has anyone actually seen or heard of anyone getting a so called "Hotbox" I went searching through this site and couldn't find anyone who got one....and I have never heard of one mentioned on Ebay or any other sites...can anyone let me know what it up with that?

There weren't any Hot Boxes for the PoA Update set, only the original set. |

Well, I just opened a box that I bought as a b'day pressie to myself It contained 2 box toppers (BT1 and BT2, both of which are spares if anyone needs one) Lupins coat (numbered /2900 i think) the usual 5 foils.. would have liked something a little more exciting, i still want Hermiones pink sweater but i think its on the too hard list...and two bts is quite different  |

you think that is weird? While I was at Comic con this past year I bought a box from Julio's Non Sports. I got a total of 24 foils in the box. One is each pack. What else was weird? All the foils were Box Toppers for some reason put into the packs. I asked Artbox about it (since their booth was 400 feet away) and they didn't know how it happened.

I can't believe it I bought two boxes of cards sealed from ebay, from one box I pulled Remus Lupin 2776/2900 And Rons thick jumper 058/731 very cool!!  woohoo I have been spending so much money buying for example I have bought Hermiones Autograph Rons Autograph Hermiones jumper 048/730 Hermiones trousers - coming through the post Hermiones robe - coming through the post Pink jumper coming through the post When they turn up i will make a website to display them! |
