Of course, that only works if you get more than five kids knocking on the door!  We generally get 25-30, so I'll be divying up my extras accordingly.

wow that is a great way to get rid of cards. The kids will love them but you might try and see if the red cross would like some as they could give them to kids in tsumara affect areas.

Hey TEA and Fruit
This may be late, no ,it is late.
In your message # 388 you said you got no auto cards.
Do you suppose they didn't send you the HoBBY boxes and sent retail boxes by mistake?
Did you consider that at the time?
Like I said it's late.

I'm new and am reading the messages to see what I've missed.

Hi YakHP.  Welcome to the forum!!  As for T&F's case with no autos (i did not go back to find it) but were there props listed at all or filmcards?  If so, it was a hobby box, as costumes only are in the retail ones, and there are only two costumes that can be found in them as well.

Hi rns

T & F said:

" No Autos, No Props and no Filmcells  " in the message # 388.

I think that if Hobby boxes were order there is a real basis for complaint....But i's probably way tooo late now.

Hi all! Yes I am a newbie here, but I have been spending quite awhile reading through as many topics as I could, so I'm starting to get an idea of whats going on  Grin I have to say, I bought my very first box about a week and a half ago, and at first I was slightly dissapointed with the cards I got. But having found this site/forum it seems as though what I got in a box seems about average. In my box I got:

2 full base sets

Chase cards:
R1, R2, R3, R6, R8

Box topper:
No one's coming Harry...

Costume cards:
Harrys cardigan 145/2173

No autos, and no props Sad

Getting another box soon...keeping my fingers crossed  ;Dx

Got my last 2 Cases today

Casetopper: Hermione Punch + Buckbeak

No Autos, No Props and no Filmcells  Huh Huh Huh Huh

Costume Cards:

7 x Lupin Coat
2 x Harry Cardigan
1 x Neville
1 x Aunt Marge
4 x Cedric Diggory
3 x Harry red Quidditch
1 x Harry red Wuidditch Close

1 Dud Box

Unbelievable

Did someone have a idea what i can do? Mail Artbox? Can someone help me with the mail i guess my english is to bad for this.

Here is T&F's post.  Nope, not a retail box, as there is only Harry's robe and George's Quidditch outfit in the retail boxes.  That means this had to be a hobby with the cards she did pull.

Hi, new here. So far only bought two actually boxes (how sad, I know, how sad), but got some good pulls: film cell and costume card in box #1, costume card and Grint auto card in box #2. Not bad for 60$ a box, I think. Also managed to get a few good costume cards off'a ebay (my three favs being Neville's Robe #0014/1170, Hermione's Trousers #015/730, and the Cedric Diggory Quidditch Robe #0062/2173...yes, I know Diggory cards are a dollar a dozen, but still, sub-one hundred, so I'm happy). A small collection thus far, but growing. Smiley

Welcome aboard darthmactor ! Grin

You were very lucky with your boxes, especially the second box - A RUPERT! Shocked  I can imagine how pleased you are in pulling that auto.  Your small collection is very impressive! Smiley

Thanks for the welcome, and yes, definitely was pleased to pull that one. It was from the second pack I opened, which made it all that much better, because for the rest of the box, no matter what I pulled, I was happy. Smiley

Weeeeeeeee! Got my third POA hobby box through today. This has to be the best box out of the 3 for deffinate!

I got 3 inserts:

David Bradley Auto
Divination Prop 343/930 (with loads of stitching on...looks like there maybe a bead or something stuck under the card bit as there is a big bump)
Cinema filme card: Harry and owl in courtyard 135/900
+ 6 foils

I'm am really happy now, although it would have been better had it been a triple auto  Roll Eyes Tongue

There is something about the auto card though...it looks like it has been signed with a biro pen, but then gone over with a thicker permanent pen. Does anyone else have a card like this Huh I'll take pics of the 3 inserts later.

Oh, and guess what else I got in a pack...one of these:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=73570&item=6162888911
Looks like it should have been a maruader's map base card. Think I could get $300 for it? lmao  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Tongue
