SrisonS, the only picture I've found so far of the update Daily Prophet is from the base card set, #113.  It doesn't show the whole paper, just enough of it that I was able to find my swatch.

The Leaky Cauldron/HP Lexicon has a photo gallery with tons of pictures from the movie.  I haven't had time to go through it, but there could be a picture of it there.

I'm hoping that I'll be able to see more when I get the DVD at Christmas.  I think there was part of a scene where the Daily Prophet is on the Gryffindor table.

Welcome Renrutha

Wow - yes when you open a box like that it's totally immaterial that you paid perhaps £5 over the odds Smiley wonderful! At least SOMEONE is having some luck Smiley

So what are you going to do now? Collect all the big 4 or sell it and either pay for Christmas Wink or buy other cards from the set?

Thanks Sonarghost. If you get all these cool things from one box you can't believe your luck which is why I asked if they were authentic and not printed autographs.

Does anyone know what the symbol below Rupert's name is? It looks like a drawing of a car. If this was a Chamber of secrets set I would say it was the Weasley's Ford Anglia.

Roz what do you think I should do? We sure need the cash for Christmas, to be honest I felt mad for spending so much money on paper but I really like the cards and I have never had a box of cards before. It was a good sample of beginners luck I think! I couldn't sell the Rosmerta card as I really like it but I am toying with the idea of selling the auto...

Hi renrutha,

Great cards that you got out of the box  Grin I wish I got a box like that!!

The symbol below rupert's name I would guess would be him signing 'Ron,' in a few of his autos I have seen him sign his character's name underneath his signature

Outstanding pulls renrutha!!  Smiley  I would hold onto that Ron Auto card and let it appreciate in value before you decide to sell it.  If I was holding that card you would have to pry it out of my cold dead hands first!   Wink

I'm glad to hear some people have had some luck...I bought three boxes. From two of the boxes I pulled the same costume card
Harry's Quidditch Outfit(2173)  :'(  From the third box I pulled the Divination Class Prop(930), but it has a lot of pretty gold on it, so I'm reasonably happy with that box. Ebay, here I come!

Argh!

I think it's the cruellest fate for the people buying just one or two boxes to have a dud  :'( - sorry McGonagal.

Welcome Eve. It's pretty bad luck to get repeats in 3 boxes Sad poor Ben/samwise 16 though seemed to get a case full of Diggory Quidditch robes  Undecided

Here are my box breakdowns (continuing on from my other boxes I got 2 weeks ago!!):

Box 5

Harry Potter Cardigan 786/2173 (again)

Box 6

Hermione Granger Pants 625/730  Smiley

Box 7

Harry Quiddich(far) 1038/1143

All in all I would have to say that I am severely dissapointed  :'( a waste of money as far as I am concerned. I could have picked these 3 cards up for under $100AU and I payed on average $100AU for these 3 boxes......  Angry

Welcome Eve:

Sorry to hear the bad news from you, Trey, and Mcgonagall!!   Sad

Anyone hear of anyone pulling the major cards recently.
How goes ebay in this area?  Any word on how many of the major cards have been pulled?

Happy Thanksgiving to all my countrymen worldwide!  Smiley

Just broke open my 3rd box (two more on the way). Not quite as exciting as my 2nd.

2 base sets
bt1
5 foils
Lupin costume 214/834  Smiley

I noticed when I open packs, that every two packs seem to have almost the same cards in the same order. I tend to open one pack from the left stack then one from the right and so on. Anyone else notice this pattern?

Well, not all is lost...I'm giving one of the Quidditch costumes to my nephew for Christmas(trying to recruit the poor boy into the world of card collecting). Since he's a hugh Potter fan, I'm sure he'll love it.

I have not seen any new posts by anyone opening boxes/cases since blackcat on the 26th!  Is that it for everyone with this set?

I still have two boxes to open Christmas morning.  Although, knowing how my little ones love HP and will want to *gasp* touch the cards, I'll have to wait until they go to bed before I can open packs!
