In a way, that's good news from Artbox.  If the company hasn't officially released info, then the clip from the article probably isn't accurate.  Don't forget, Tuff Stuff is a sports card magazine.  Maybe the person who wrote the article assumed the HP set was similar to the LOTR sets.

As for a dragon prop/creature card, it's possible even though the dragon is CGI.  Buckbeak was CGI, but they still had to make a prop so the actors could use it in their scenes.

I liked that part also, but it's just so unlikely to happen.   I do wish Artbox would get on the stiick and release some real info on this set.

Unfortunately, Sara's email indicates they won't be releasing info for at least a couple of weeks.   For the other sets, I had placed my pre-order by this time.  I'm not pre-ordering even one box until I hear more about this set.

I could be wrong on this, but unless this set proves to be beyond awesome with it's inserts (which, you never know, it might), it just might be the point where people start to get fed up with artbox, to the point of abandoning the cards; this is the least we've known about a major movie card release this close to it's release date; I mean, heck, at this point, we know just as much about the King Kong cards as we do the Goblet of Fire cards. Or maybe it's just me talking.  I just think, if they don't get their act together, or come out with a product so good it makes us forget all the delays/lack of information/etc., they will start to lose some of their most loyal.

Or maybe material USED to make the tidy whities  I sure hope they don't use just the material!! I know I will be soooo disappointed :'( I just love to get a piece of the costume actually WORN by the actors!  It just makes me feel good  when I get them! I know you all know what I am talking about! I think Artbox is making a big mistake if they start using cheap material for their cards, we all expect the items we spend our hard earned money for to at least be WORTH what we are spending it on!! Well now I am just in ONE OF THOSE MOODS!! I half hope the article is wrong (But I really would like all of the cards that could be pulled!) and then, the REAL costume cards will go through the roof!!!
Thanks for letting me vent!  Maybe we should all get together and let Artbox know how we feel? Not that it would do any good!

I think that's already started to happen.  From private conversations with people here, most of them will be pre-ordering far less of GOF than any of the other HP releases.  That might change a bit once info is released, but we'll see.

  I have taliked to alot of dealers on these cases and they are cutting back. They said they do not want to get stuck with alot of product. Thus the low case run. But if artbox gets sneaky and puts some great autos in at the last second, we could have a very hot product like POA was.  What do yall think? <a href="" target="_blank"></a>

Possibly, though 1) it would have to be a really great auto to beat Gleeson as Mad-Eye and Richardson as Rita, and 2) auto's don't always make the set, especially as there have been some really great prop and costume cards before this. Just my 2 cents. :p

I don't know that it's possible to have a repeat of POA.  It was the first HP set, had some good autos, and caught both card collectors and HP fans by surprise.  There were also 9 pack-pulled props, of which four were limited to less than 100.  Look at the price guide and you'll see that those cards still command high prices on eBay.  Even if Artbox could duplicate the box run and the limited-run inserts, I just don't think it would be as popular as POA.
