In the UK news papers today there was an article about how much tea the average Brit drinks in their life time*.  The total they came up with was 74,245 cups of tea.  That works out to about 1060 cups a year or 20 cups a week or 3 cups a day.  Now in our household you could easily multiply this by 4, giving a staggering 203,840 cups in a lifetime.

But to let your imagination run wild try guessing how much tea Roz can guzzle down.  I was going to estimate a figure but my calculator started pleading for mercy  ROFL!

I just think it is fascinating how much of something we can pack away in a lifetime, be it tea, coffee, chocolate muffins or those little tiny dognuts you can get from Greg's with the cinnamon sugar  Tongue (yes everyone outside of the UK should be very jealous now  Wink )

I try not to double post but Anna has kindly pointed out a little error in my post  ROFL!

Just to be clear I eat doughnuts from Gregs and not some weird UK cake called dognuts ROFL!

Tell what, that is only the second time I have laughed this week  ROFL!  Thanks Anna  ROFL!

I'm glad you clarified that, Sharon!  I would hate to think you eat something called DOGNUTS!  ROFL!

*passes by and sweeps and spring cleans the topic* Wink

Ahh today be talk like a pirate day, so we be needin' to explain this in Piratey speak.

3 cups o' tea-grog is a quiet early night in for a blood-thirsty (and indeed tea thirsty) Pirate like Roz, 4 is a number easily achieved in the evening, but add in a mornin' cuppa, a midmornin' cuppa a lunchtime cuppa and an afternoon tea time cuppa ... the maths should never be done Wink

This must be above the legal dose... let us be hopin' that they never introduce tea breathalizers Wink
