bah, I'm tellin' ya Mike, the Noble Wands are just as good!
but to each his own, I s'pose........
I'm a replica kinda guy too......I really dig prop replicass that bring me closer to my movies, and some are REALLY good.......
some Dumbledore items get kinda pricy, but it seems that most F&G items are reasonable, so it balances a bit........

Exactly I really think the offical ones we all buy really are great and it just makes the "magic" of the movies come alive

I'm just glad my fave characters aren't Harry, Ron, or Hermione, the prices for their auto cards is astonishing!
Gambon's isn't much better, and I'll be lucky if I get a good price for Oldman's and Thewlis', but at least I ain't trying to track down a Radcliffe, or Triple Auto!
I just wish there had been more GOF toys, and I certainly hope that the Gentle Giant Statues continue.......

Yeah I reckon its made of tougher stuff. The bag is canvas and the stitching of the Durmstrang logo is pretty cool. Theres a felt HP logo on the inside of the bag and like a cool faux bronze HP bag clip. Whats the hot topic one made from? Its a pity we dont get a hot topic here in Australia. Oh yeah the Tonner dolls look pretty cool. Id love Yule Ball harry but Ive got to pick and choose what I collect. I just hope I made the right choice getting the busts.

The Voldy bag looked felt like nylon and had three pocket and a cell phone/IPOD pocket. But this one sounds a lot better With the Tonner Dolls I have to make the decision to buy Harry or Hermione Mostlikely Hermione

I didnt know Tonner was doing a Hermione doll as well. thats really cool. Gentle Giant better darn well make the Ron and Hermione busts. Does anyone have the Gryffindor or Slytherin ring from NC? Im considering picking one up but Im really a bit on the fence about it.

Taichi, GG announced that the statues wont be made. The only statue being produced will be the Hungarian Horntail. Im not happy about that but at least the Horntail statue is cool.

The chain on the Japan time turner is not that long. It fits around my neck, but i couldn't fit it around mine and someone elses like Hermione does in the movie. Although, I swear for that one scene the must lengthen the chain because you see it on her in other scenes and it is not that long. But I guess the Japan version is still longer than NC. Anyone know if you can buy the display case somewhere seperately?
I am still dying to get one of the Pet Beasts from GoF, but no one seems to have them. Any ideas?
I also have a Hedwig pin from NC that I like very much. And yes Mike, I agree that the NC wands are very nice. I love my Snape one. it is a very heavy wand actually. I want to get Sirius next....
And stay tuned for another thread some day on my collection of HP Legos. My husband and I are going to put them all on our kitchen table one day (they won't all fit) and take pictures of them all to share with you. My newest is the Durmstrang ship, and it is amazing. I think I have two of the 4 left to get from the GoF ones (wich they made more) but we have so many it is like Hogwarts on our table when we set it up. We took it down to make room for boxes to be opened. Now we will set it up again....until the Update comes out.
