But then you'd have to wait 18 years to catch up with your present self, that'd be a long vacation Wink

And the problem is.......  ?

Well, like I said, I think the bird one went forward as well....and I know for a fact that Hermione mentioned 'running into your past or future self' implying that it could......I just re-read Prisoner of Azkaban this week.......

but, even if it didn't, before I left, I'd get the date, and that week's lottery number's tattooed on me, so that when it finally did ROLL around to 'today' again, It'd at least be worth it......not to mention all those cool, rare things I missed out on the first time around......

Anytime Cool

Does anyone have one of the Hermione Parkers/Jackets from Japan?

I'm really interested in getting one and I just want to know it theres anything wrong with it or something similar Smiley

Mike, ive got 2 Hermione jackets. One to wear and one to keep for my HP collection.  Grin Yeah Im nuts.  Tongue Ive compared it to the film version and it is indeed spot on. The material is top notch. I also have 2 of Hermione's belts which once again are spot on. Most people tend to recognise where the whole outfit is from which is cool for me.  Smiley I really wish that Japan will release the other pink jacket that Hermione wears when her and Harry are trying to figure out the meaning of the merepeople's song. Id get that in a heartbeat.
I also have the NC time turner and it really isnt that good. One of the ones I have is sealed away but the other I was wearing just fell apart which I wasnt too pleased about. Hoping to get the Japan one sometime soon.

Wow, hearing all this about the NC time turner is making me scared to ever wear my Japan version one again. Someone else will hae to let me know how it compares to the NC one if you ever get both....

I know for a fact that the Noble one has a VERY short chain. Only long enough to fit around your neck. The Japan one is more accurate when it come to the film version.

I'm a 26 year old guy.....

I'd feel like a creepy old dude, if I ever found myself contemplating purchase of a replica pink hoodie ROFL!......I have the wand, and will be getting an autograph card, and Time Turner in the future......that's enough for me....

if I get a costume card swatch of the pink hoodie, that's one thing, but to buy a fully-wearable replica?, I just can't bring myself to take my Emma Watson obsession that far......

and if you heard some of the things my brother said he'd do if I ever got part of the REAL costume, you'd probably wanna keep the collection small too.....

LOL,

I never even thought about wearing it if I bought it ROFL!

I'm just buying it because its one of the only Japan replicas I want. I'm trying to get an official clothing replica for every movie Japan makes for them and the Pink top was the only one for PoA, well, the only one I can find Tongue

I'm not even going to open it. I'm going to put it somewhere if I can find some space for it Smiley

I might as well get the belt if I'm getting the hoodie. Maybe if I ever meet Emma Watson I'll get her to sign it. I'm sure nobody on with forum will really think its funny that I have it then Wink ROFL!

if I had the room, I'd get a mannequin, and outfit it in her POA costume, and give it the wand, and Timeturner to wear.....

and every night before I went to bed, I'd smell 'her' hair....... ROFL!

Now thats obsessive...and I'd do that ROFL!

But I'm fine with just the hoodie and belt, plus I'd have to hut down the company that made the pants and get an identical pair of jeans she wore in the movie Wink

IT PUTS THE LOTION ON ITS SKIN....

okay, that's a little TOO far....heh...

Lucky me, I'm a Fred and George Fan......there's not much out there, and what there is, is cheap! ROFL!

tho, I'm also a Dumbledore fan, and some items can get kinda pricey.....luckily I got his watch before it got TOO expensive.......I'd hate to have to pay $900 for it.....

Hermione and Emma Watson fan all the way. Though I am a big Harry Potter supporter but my favorite character is Hermione. Notice all that I'm interested in buying ROFL!

Im a fan of pretty much everyone. I bought the replica clothing line because I really wasnt impressed with the Hot Topic stuff like the Hoggies track jacket. I mean theyre good but even if I wear my pink jacket it isnt instantly recogniseable from Harry Potter and its good to have something a little more subtle I think. Though at the GOF premier I had a few people come up to me after the movie asking where my Beauxbatons track jacket was from.  Tongue I buy two of each so one set can stay pristine for future years I guess.
Im hoping to get the trio's wands by Japan and NC next week, but right now Ive just paid for the set of Dumbledore and Snape busts by Gentle Giant which I hope are going to be pretty cool.
The most prized posession I own from HP is one of the envelopes used in the first film, Philosopher's Stone. Its in a plastic display with a mirror backing and set me back around $750 but its the most awesome piece of Potter memorabilia I own.  Cheesy I didnt want to risk buying a fake from EBay so I spent the extra to make sure its the real deal. It looks like this:

I'm more of a replica guy. I have the cards so I really don't care about buying an intact piece.

I'm still trying to get my mom to let me sell my Noble wands because I want to get the Japan wands but Roll Eyes You know parents Tongue

Haha spot on Mike, I know exactly what parents are like.  Tongue  Roll Eyes
Oh yeah dont get me wrong I love the prop cards as well, but I just thought this would be pretty cool to have. Its more the memories I have really. The first screencap of the film I ever saw was when harry was reaching for one of the acceptance letters, so thats my main reason for getting this. I dont own anything else used in the films because I reckon its better to get a greater variety with the prop and costume cards.  Grin
Mike, you should keep your NC wands and save up for the Japan wands. Then you can have a set of each.  Smiley

Also another thing Id highly recommend is the Durmstrang Dark Arts Messenger bag from WB Shop. I got this as a bit of a belated Chrissie pressie and its the best bag I own. Its huge and you can store a superflous amount of things in there, it also has an iPod holder and mobile phone case. Its really lovely and very good quality.  Grin

The first screen shot I ever saw was the scene where Hermione asks have Harry and Ron seen a toad Grin

Dont get me, wrong I'd love to have on but....

I'd rather have the Japan ones so I guess will see soon Smiley

I really want that one, sounds like it beats out the Hottopic "Voldemort Returns" Bag Cool
