I can confirm that Noble Voldemort's, and Sirius' wands have a metal rod inside too......

so, don't be put off by Noble, at least as far as wands are concerned, the Japanese aren't any better.........That's my experience.......

Just because something isn't a domestic product, doesn't make it better.......Noble's wands are just fine by me, I see no difference in the detail, or construction, between Japanese manufacture, and Noble.......

Time Turners are a different thing, I don't know about them, but I can say my Wands are perfect.......and they're no worse than my friend's Japanese ones.......the details are just as sharp, the sizes aren't too much different (at least that I've seen.....the Japanese Hermione is a hair shorter)......but it seems Noble has taken a page from someone's book, and all new ones are reinforced with the metal rod.......dunno if they went back and did that with Harry's (I'd assume that the Triwizard Harry would have it, if it's a new run, and not just leftover stock)

There's only three Japanese Wands I'd want, because all the rest are done by Noble, and are comparable in quality.......

the only ones that were released overseas, but not domestically, are a series of Trio wands from COS (Including Ron's spellotaped wand).......all the rest have been released here......

tho Japan DID have the Dumbledore wand before anybody else......despite the fact that it didn't appear onscreen until GOF, the design hadn't changed since it premiered between COS and POA.....so that might be a good indicator of the Sirius wand's veracity......

I think the Japan wands are a little more accurate because the Noble one has a slightly overall large feel. The Japan looks movie accurate in appearance.

I dont think we'll ever get a real going movie accurate prop Roll Eyes

Anyways, thats for the info Cheesy and Welcome Cool

Thanks and no problem.....

I can't compare the Cedric wands, but I assure you, the Japanese Hermione and Noble Hermione wands are almost identical........like I said, the Japanese one is a hair shorter........

I do like the Noble wands, and honestly, the Voldemort wand is one of my favorite pieces of Potter merchandise......since I'll never own the one Ralph Fiennes held in the film, this is the next best thing......it looks good enough to me, anyway......

I do own a set of the Pobjoy coins, though, and they're fantastic...

I have the Japenese time turn and love it.  Although, I don't have the Noble one to compare.

I also have Snapes wand from Noble and love it.

And how can you tell that there is a metal rod in it without breaking it?

I still want to get Sirius and Voldy's wand.

Oh, and I got Harry's from Alivans.com.  It is a Holly wand made from really Holly wood.  It is the same length as Harry's from the first film and looks like the one he holds in SS as well.  I highly recommend them.  They ahve all sorts of wands that you can pick.  They also have scarfs, brooms and many other things.

if I were you, Mike, I'd go with the Pobjoy Coins, they're struck from the same dies, and materials used to make the ones in the film, and therefore are identical.......

the Noble ones, are replicas, and the finish seems to be different on them (the Galleon looks like brushed brass, instead of shiny gold/brass colored)

my brother and I bought five sets of them, direct from a distributor in Britain, for $15 a set.........and they haven't gone up much since (unless you count certain scrupulous Ebayers, who remove them from the presentation sleeve, and try to pass them off as 'originals' at $300 a clip......but most people know to look out for that kinda thing.....the only "Film Used" ones I'd trust are the artbox 'quarters' and there's not many of those to begin with!)

I was going to pick up about 5 sets from The Collectors Zone (I think they ship internationally Undecided) for the same price (I believe)

The Galleon makes a great necklace, but everybody wants to BUY it from me...... ROFL!

I kindly tell them where I got it, and that they could have it much cheaper if they bought it there.......

I think this was discussed somewhere, and Mike will agree with me that the Time Turners from Noble are not really that good. I think if I remember correctly, everyone who posted had theirs broke someway or another!!!  Tongue

I bought an extra Galleon, to make a necklace, I didn't break up a set.....

HPFamily: That's a bummer, my next noble purchase was gonna be a Turner......tho, I don't exactly plan on wearing it.......so, I'm not sure it would be too bad an issue for me......

I do happen to own the Fossil Dumbledore Pocketwatch, and it's one of the better HP items......really rare (probably the rarest HP item I own), really nice piece.......

tho, it's not exactly a film item......

But then you'd have to wait 18 years to catch up with your present self, that'd be a long vacation Wink
