Hi and welcome - they sound like a bonanza deal to me, they cost considerably more to dealers at wholesale price (i.e. over 25 cases) to start with.

It's hard to compare our prices to US ones because of the postage costs involved of importing boxes, not to mention the 17.5% tax plus the administration charge £8!

WOW! I'm always amazed to see the duty you guys pay in the UK. We have it too, but it's on luxury items like jewelry, tobacco, perfume, cars, booze, silk, fine porceline, etc. None on printed matter. Cards are printed matter. And an administrative fee....geez, don't your taxes pay for keeping the government running?

... not to mention other so-called 'luxury goods' we have to pay VAT on .... I won't go on, see the other place where I've just referred to it!! Undecided
Perhaps that would explain why so many of us here in the UK are so reluctant to pay Duty on top of all this lot when we buy from abroad ... we're fleeced left right and centre! Angry

Everything we pay tax on is classed as a luxury good - for example - we pay taxes on cake but not on biscuits.... we have a national health service free for all to run with our taxes you know Wink

Sorry to send this so far off-topic, but I certainly seem to have hit a raw nerve over the taxing of so-called women's "luxury" items!! Shocked Undecided
