ok, i caved and opened the envelope (global Priority) in hope of finding out more about my secret santa, but alas i am still none the wiser. The present was nicely wrapped in silver paper... and i still don't recognise the address  Evil

To my Santa ... I'm sorry Sad I can't read. I missed the international postal mailing date by 1 day. With any luck, it'll still arrive in time, but the post office won't guarantee it. So, I stuck a little extra something in the top to make up for the delay Smiley in case there was a delay. But I'm hoping there's no delay.

It's more the Post Office guaranteeing the post to be delivered by Xmas if the mail is sent by that date than anything else.
I shouldn't worry too much Joanna ... one day late isn't too bad and I imagine your parcel will arrive in good time. Wink

I just sent mine today too (to be exact, I am off to the PO now) so I hope it gets there in time... I am usually way more organised than this, but due to work and other issues I was a bit lazy this year Sad I even bought the pressie in early November... dunno what came over me - Yuletide lethargy? Tongue Wink

Fair enough, I was only kidding (didnt mean to offend  Undecided). Sometimes life just gets a bit much, there is so much to do (I can sympathise with that), especially with christmas coming (and kids in the lead-up to chrissie can be pretty hectic). Like I said, should reach its destination in time, fingers crossed  Grin

Just to let my Secret Santa know that their package has arrived here safely today! Grin
I've no idea what's inside the box as I haven't opened it - I'm going to be good and leave opening it till Christmas morning! Angel
Thanks once again!! Kiss Grin

PS: It took five days to get here which I think is good going considering the amount of mail flying through the system! Wink Grin
