Woo Hoo!! Just send Roz a PM and I'm sure she'll include you Jackie. You'll need to send her your address details and your likes/preferences ... can't remember what else but I'm sure Roz will tell you!

Not at all, in fact we already have 3 lovely participants in the next round, if you come on board we are ready to do another ring, although the more the merrier really. This next ring will close at the end of the month (on Halloween!!!) (although I'll be at a party so if you are early on the morn of Nov 1st then don't fret, but please don't dilly dally, let me know as soon as possible that you want to take part)). All you need to do is send an email to: Santa2005@theyakshack.co.ukGiving me 1) your full name and address, 2) your Yak Shack ID, 3) Please state whether you are prepared to send abroad (if you only want to participate within your country then that's fine, but you must let us know), and 4) please also give me hints about what your interests - so you could state your favourite TV series/films. This info will be passed onto your Santa but your Santa will then be given free reign to try to find a nice present for you - whether it be related to cards or your favourite shows).

Okay, I only vaguely remember the whole Secret Santa thing from my younger school days; what's the whole deal with this again?

Im just wondering, is it too early to start thinking about sending pressies, or when is the best time? Obviously the sea-mail date has been and gone, and airmail is relatively quick, but I dont want to leave it too late....

I was thinking that those of us sending stuff overseas should aim to get their pressies bought and packed and on their way by the third week of November ... maybe a bit sooner depending on destination of course. I'm not too sure when the recommended last posting dates are, but I'd rather send mine too early than it arrive after Christmas! Well that's the date I'm gonna stick to unless anyone else has better info to guide us all with ...

It would also depend on where you are sending to as well, I know that sometimes its not a matter of distance, but of countries... UK to US i have heard can take up to 2-3 weeks, but a US to Aus parcel was sent to me last Wednesday and I got it in 6 days (including the weekend)... so hopefully your Santa is in a post-friendly locale Highly variable, these are though, so best err on the safe side. I need to get my thinking cap on then...

Be vague! But sufficiently detailed enough not to let the parcel get opened by customs (delayed and possibly wrecked), so it can be "trading cards" or "book" - things that people might guess from the size of the packet anyway I guess. That's all I can suggest. Hi Roz Sent you an email. Just wondering if it arrived ok? To go in the second round? Actually they go to Mark - but I'll check
