I will be attending Dee's Card show in the Meadowlands in NJ this weekend.  Just wanted to let everyone know what I saw on the website about Inkworks.  Found this interesting:

Come Meet & Greet Trading Card Manufacturers:
Inkworks
10th Anniversary!!
Come join Uncle Allan Caplan as he celebrates by having drawings for all kinds of "GOODIES". Who knows what Piecework or Autograph card might come your way.

I will have more deatils after the weekend.  Sorry, but I am not bringing a camera to this show, so i will not be posting pictures this time.

Darn, I wish I'd read this post before I went to the show myself. I could've met another Yakker!  I had a great time. I was there with my better half Grin for ten minutes and we won a Michael Kraiger sketch card commission and a pick in the Inkworks bag! Allan Caplan was picking names from a jar every hour or so, and if you won you got to dip your hand in a bag full of autographs & pieceworks cards. We got a Sopranos auto.  Plus, and exclusive LOST promo and the Convention promo from ST Art & Images was given out. All in all, a great show. Maybe next year I'll get to see some of you there!!!! So you were the one who won the sketch!!!

My name was called as well and I won Greg Grunbergs auto from Alias!!  I like the was Inworks gave everyone a chance to win something.  I just wish my husbands name would have been called too Wink

The Inkworks rep is extremely nice and I can't wait to see them again at the Philly show.

There were some nice deals, but how about that LOST promo exclusive to the show?  Isn't it gourgous?  I will have to get a scan of it up on this forum.

I had a wonderful time.  Shame it didn't have a better turn out, but the show was great. A nd the weather was perfect!!!!

I was just at NSU, and there was a thread with a load of pictures...including one of myself and my husband Ryan...and of Ed from SciFi Cards, another of our forum members.  I met him and his son, who are both very friendly people.  If you want to view all the photos (some nice ones of the Charmed inserts as well), go to this link:

That looked like lots of fun!  Too bad I don't have anything like that near me ever.  Are you sure that was Ryan?  I thought Ryan was a giant bald guy.   ROFL!

Yeah, she posted a photo of them before from the Philly show.  It was of 3 people, one of them she said was an actor.  It was Sara, a HUGE bald guy, and a cute guy on the right.  At first I thought the cute one (Ryan) was the actor.  And I thought HOLY COW, Sara's husband (big bald guy) is like 10 times her size!  Shocked  Then a second later I realized that he couldn't possibly be her husband.  Roll Eyes  Silly me!  Anyway, Sara thought it was funny.  I'm not sure what Ryan thought!  ROFL!

ROFL! ROFL! ROFL! an easy enough mistake to make Kelly if you've never met Sara or her husband before! Wink
