I might bid on a couple of their auctions. But you can bet I'll be paying with PayPal AND a credit card for some added protection.
We all started on eBay with 0 feedback, but we didn't all start out selling only the most desired stuff out there.
At the very least is should be interesting.

Oh Ed, please be careful. If you bid, make sure there is a way to get your money back first, just in case. I would hate to see a fellow friendly forum member get burned.

It's called living on the edge...  PayPal hates it when it happens, but the credit card company will charge them back for items not received if they refuse to do anything because ultimately PayPal was the one who performed the charge to the card. Been through this once or twice... Ed |

The Prop was allready sold over ebay in June by ztaylork Auction # 6184845352 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6184845352by the way it is in our database too (price guide) Definately wrong picture (but we know this) and even if he or she have bought this card why does he/she have now a new ebay account |

The LOTR box is over $200, and people are bidding on his items, including the SS. I wanted to warn the high bidder, but this person made their auctions private. I wonder why. Unless it truly is the person who won that card from Zach.

I don't think this person has any of the items they listed, but if you want, the auctions ended, so email them and ask if they have any more and what numbers they are.
Ed, did you ever bid on any of them? I will be curious to watch and see the feedback come in.

I bid on a couple of them, but put in conservative bids and was not successful on any of them.
I too will be interested to see if any of these auctions really get completed.

I don't see why buyers shouldn't protected ... I don't think it matters what the sellers feedback rating is does it - we all started at zero after all! What I would like to know is whether they offered Standard protection - which covers you upto £120, or the better option of Paypal protection which covers you upto £500? I've just looked on a couple of their auctions and didn't notice anything like that, though I did see the option to pay for items totalling $50+ on installment, which is interesting .... only for US-based buyers though, international buyers are on their own!  The fact that they are no longer a registered user rings clanging alaram bells for me and I'll be very surprised if anyone receives the items they've paid such a a lot for.  |
