Did you look at the seller's other auctions? Most of them are expensive items. We've seen this sort of thing before with sellers who have zero or low feedback.

I sent him/her an e-mail. Here's the answer:
"We actcually have 4 of these cards to auction off. They all look almost identical."
I had directed him to the TOM auction, but as you can see, it was ignored.

Oh No!! And a couple of their items have bids!!!
I find it odd that they have 4 SS cards to aucton, yet not another single Harry Potter card at all. They have watched what sells and listed them to make some money.
However, they do accept PayPal, which provides asome type of insurance for the buyers at least.

There is no paypal buyer-protection logo. I thought only with a feedback of 50+ a seller got the logo.

You might be right, but don't you get some form of protection by paying with PayPal? I still just have a hard time believing this person has the items they say they do. We will have ti watch this one and see what happens with feedback in a few weeks or so.

Be *extra* careful. This seller is selling only the rare cards from Men of Sunnydale - cards that would have required a several case purchase, and yet, surprisingly so, all they have up are the main leads, the rare cards, and the triple auto - none of the lesser autos, which one would expect to see from a seller breaking a full case. Now of course, this is all speculation and the seller could very well be legit, but I think a bit of caution is always a good thing

If we assume that this seller did not break cases for these cards, (and that they actually have these cards )then where in the world are they getting them from? Even if they got them as a special sale from a dealer, won't they probably loose money on the Stone cards at least? They would need to have gotten each of the 4 cards for less than their starting price of $80. If not, then they are taking a risk with the price. I don't know enough about the Buffy stuff to comment.
