I was entering some auctions in the price guide, and noticed a link to this auction on the right side of the screen.  Yes, the auction is for empty boxes!

The word WHY keeps going through my mind  Huh  Why would anyone bid on this?  Do you reckon the seller expects the winning bidder to go through with this?

I highly doubt that the high bidder is going to pay... looks like a spoof auction complete with spoof bidders to me... Roll Eyes

On the other hand, if they do, I'll send them a link to my auctions and include a couple of free boxes in the final price Grin

I sent an e-mail to the high bidder. She told me they were "mystery boxes" and that she had bought some from this seller in the past. I told her that I missed the part in the description about "mystery Boxes". Did any of you see it there?

I didn't see anything stating "Mystery Boxes"!!!  Did the high bidder say what was in the last boxes they purchased?

By looking at his feedback, it look like all his auctions are prize auctions, but this one states nothing of the sort.  I am asking him.

So, they might be selling something that isn't allowed on eBay?

its listed under the category of mystery auction, so maybe it does contain something, but $11,000 is a very expensive gamble  Undecided
