Author Topic: One Costume, Too Many Cards  (Read 1141 times)

I know theres a thread for this I just couldnt find it

Over the past few months Monica and I have been talking about one costume being used to make two or three cards. We've created a list of all the costumes being made into multiple cards. We have notice that most of these have come from PoA but we've found one set in SS.

PoA
Harry Potter's Quidditch Robe:
There were a total of three Quidditch Costumes, one is PoA and two in PoAU. We've guessed they must have used more then one seeing as we've only seen a button hole (used to tie the robe) varient
Hermione Granger's Pink Top:
There are two pink top cards one being in each set. We guess they used the After Whomping Willow Attack tops for the Update card since so many of those have dirt and seam varients.
Harry Potter's Grey Tee Shirt:
We have two of these, one in each set. We've never seen any varients of these sets but Monica guesses that they used tow different cards or part of the shirt because some of them are a little greyer then the others.
Harry Potter's Robe:
There wernt really two different cards in each set more then one card with a different number for the original PoA set. same with the Ron Weasley's Robe card

*Let me know if we forgot something Smiley*

The one for SS was the Boys and Girls robe cards. We think they could have used one card (maybe with a shot of the Great Hall) and just have on the back "This Costume Card Contains Material Worn by Hogwarts Students" instead of having two different cards

John has a variant of the Update Harry Grey Wink we traded it a while back - it has a couple of rows of stitching as though it had been the edge of an arm or by his tummy (American translation - belly).

The thing with the old black cloaks, I don't know if its me. But looking at them close they seem to be different materials, some being lighter with tigher weave. Maybe it is just me *shrugs*

True the Hermione UK (PoAU) robe has at least two weaves... but I think there's a limit on the number of variations one can collect Wink

Actually, the hermione pink costume came from different shirts, one from her jacket, and one from the pink shirt she had on under the jacket.
