I am very angery at the momemt. VERY angrey. When I got my first box of SS I pulled a Wizard Candy prop card and then a Chess Game FilmCard. Well, the filmcard's glue wasnt all dry but I put it in a case anyways so the cell wouldnt get dusty and I wouldnt have to touch it often. Well, I wanted the case for the new cards I recently got and LOOK AT WHAT HAPPENED WHEN I TRIED TO TAKE IT OUT OF THE CASE!!! I was trying without much force to get it out and I must have picked the side up because I thought it was stuck to the case so I pulled it. The back happened because the glue that was around the cell was stuck to the back of the case. I wasnt thinking so I just pulled and it all came out like this. WHAT DO I DO, well send it to Artbox but will they give me a new one, should I send a note with it explaning?

Send it back, they'll send you a new one. Do you have the address? Be sure to mark the envelope "Damaged Card Replacement Department" I ve sent several cards one was a film card with glue on the cel, so they know it happens.
Be patient for the return, it takes a few weeks.

Mike, If you want, you can send their customer service an email. They are really nice and understanding. You can explain exactly what you told us, and even send the pictures if you want. They WILL tell you to send it back, and give your the correct address and what Attention you should mail it to.
At least this way, when you send it in, they know why the card looks like that. Obvioulsy it was not pack pulled this way, but they will know how it happened.
Or, you could just sent it in with a letter, but they should replace this for you.
Now I want to go check all my cards to make sure this hasn't happened.

The glue was still wet when you pulled it from the pack? Did the glue get on the cards inside the pack? Artbox will replace it, but like Sara said, you should email them first. Explain how the damage happened and include the pictures with the email. In the event that Artbox is running out of replacements for that particular card, costumer service will hold one aside for you. I've had to return several cards to them and I've always gotten a replacement without a problem.

I've noticed on my filmcards that about 50% of them have sticky edges. I'm not sure of the type of glue Artbox uses, but it reminds me of rubber cement. It seems that an excessive layer of glue was applied in making the cards and when the pieces were compressed, the glue leaked out to the edges, hence the sticky cards.

Now that SS is three months past release, and the other sets even more so, it's a good idea to email Artbox and ask about availability of the particular replacement. I had a problem with an update Slytherin tie a few months ago and was told that they had only one left. If you send in a card that no longer has replacements, Artbox reserves the right to send you another comparable card they have in stock.

Cindy is right, they will hold one aside for you if that card is getting lower in their stocks. The did it for me once. I emailed them, and they told me they didn't have many left and would put the best one they had aside for me. They also told me that they could only hold it for 10 days, so I sent it right in with delivery confirmation as well. Good idea to get that in case it gets lost in the mail on the way to them. At least that way, you will know it reaches them, and when

If the card has just pealed away and not bent or creased, couldn't you just glue it back yourself?

Even if the two pieces pulled apart cleanly, you'd still have trouble trying to glue it back together without some warping or glue oozing out of the edges. It's much better to have Artbox replace it, since the damage was cause by faulty gluing at the print shop. Here's the email address, in case you need it: customerservice@artboxent.com

Mike, make sure you pack the card in a thick bubble mailer so you can get delivery confirmation. It will cost a little more in postage, but it's worth it. I sent them a Diggory Quidditch robe which got lost, either in the mail or at Artbox. Since Artbox had no record that they'd received it (despite me sending them a copy of the letter and a scan of the card to try to prove I really did have it), they wouldn't replace it.
