Well there are a couple on ebay on BIN for £145 and £150 so it seems very odd to me that people bid up to £180 Huh

I lot of people think they see all the items available when they browse through ebay auctions and don't know that buy it now items in stores don't show up when they are just browsing the auctions. The buyer probably was unaware of the buy it now cards in ebay stores and therefore made a bid of over 180 GBP. He just wanted it......

when i do a search for leggy autos, in australia (.com.au), it has a spot at the bottom where it displays international items, and a spot for store items...obviously not everyone gets that (especially ebay.com), but its pretty helpful...

It wasn't that nice an auto either Tongue From memory, I think I paid $300 AU for mine 2 years ago.

Did you see this FOTR one though?

And this guy is back - this time with a pretty good BIN ($350US) and also they are accepting best offers - I would get it for sure if I didn't already have a Leggy Wink

Here's a better pic of the card that I had from one of its earlier auctions

I like ES's auctions for the high priced cards - thye usually give us a good idea of the market values at the time! Given the fact I ave not seen many Leggy autos (TT or FOTR) for a while, I'd be interested in how this one does.

Thinking of putting in a bid Kate?

I watched that auction too, and I thought that the price was a bit high. I think that when some bidders find an auto card like this and decide to bid on it, they sometimes put on blinders and do not check any other auctions.
