We are given this image of Snape and Malfoy disappearing over the horizon towards the end of the book.

Does anyone have a theory as to where they went?

It wouldn't have been very smart to head for Castle Malfoy or Spinner's End under the circumstances.  And I don't think Snape would have taken Malfoy to Voldemort because it might not have been too good for his health and Snape had taken the Unbreakable Vow to protect him.

Who else is there who could/would help them?  Bellatrix is going to have a problem with loyalties, isn't she?

After all, with DD dead and him being secret keeper (as far as we know anyway) for the Order passing with him, then unless someone else was designated the task ... Snape will be able to go there and tell whoever he wants about it can't he?

But doesn't Harry own Grimmauld Place now?  I don't suppose they'd be too keen on a visit from him either.  As I recall, their parting wasn't too friendly.

Yes Harry is  the new owner of Grimmauld Place, although they weren't too sure to start with were they?
It's the 'Secret Keeper' bit I'm unsure about ... is there a new one to replace DD and if so - who is it??

I don't think Harry will be running to Grimmauld place anytime soon... well not through choice. He'll certainly go and see if the locket is still there, but Mundungus is in Azkaban isn't he? I wonder if he'll go and quiz him there.
