Along with my Australian Harry Potter HBP book i also wanted 1st ed from england and US
so i brought a copy from bloombury and it arrived today to say that i am slightly disappointed is an understatement
this book was to go in my collection and was not to be touched by my darling angels ( kids ) .
I took care opening the box that it came in on to find that someone when packing took no care and that the dustjacket has a
small tear in it at the binder end of the front cover and that at least 10 centremeters of the bottom of the front page of the dust jacket has been folded up . Also when i had a good look at the book itself  you can see wax like fine lines all over the front and back of the book itself

i know to you guys it might not seem like much but after 13 days in the postal system i know of no way of fixing it .
do you guys think i should complain Huh

let me know what you think

I would complain. Even after 13 days in the mail it shouldnt look like that. It was the workers fault because somethig like that could happen in to box or mail Angry

If it's not perfect for what you want it for, send them a nice email telling them that you are upset and see what they can do Smiley

I agree.  Just be nice and tell them it was not for reading, or else you wouldn't have minded some damage, but you want it as a collector's item.  I bet they will have no problem getting another one out to you.  I just hope you don't have to return that one......
