Here's a list of errors and non-errors in the Scholastic version of HBP, including some interesting info about the scene when Slughorn calls Ron by the name of Rupert:

Doesn't seem many errors, most of the things pointed out where differences between American and British English. I think the Rupert bit is funny.

Anyway my mum thinks she might have spotted one in the Bloomsbury. It said apparition instead of apperation. Those two always make my head hurt.

I think the publisher was having a problem with receiving many emails about "errors," so they posted the list.

Yes it would drive me mad if people kept on reporting mistakes that aren't there.

JK probably should have chosen a name other than Rupert - Richard for instance, but it gave us all a good giggle whilst it lasted
