I think i just got a great price on a TT Merry auto:

Considering that Jo sold her's not too long ago for this price:

It equates to approx US$66.30 which is cheaper than any in the price guide! WOO HOO  Grin

I think the main reason no one bidded on it was cause of the lack of feedback this person had, but I emailed her and she seemed nice....so now we wait to see if it arrives..........

Oh congrats! That is a fantastic price Cheesy I was going to go for the Frodo, but logged in too late and it went for a bargain :'(  Tongue

Merry prices have been WEIRD... mine was the highest I have seen it go for the past year, but since then, they have gone for $80-120 US.

Let us know when you get it Smiley

But that is not to say we don't think your Merry was a steal Trey as I believe it was Smiley I lusted after one for a while when they were averaging £60, and then they jumped up to nearer £100 so I didn't buy one, so the £40 you paid is a steal Smiley

Oh really?? Cheesy The second highest bidder also had a penchant for paying through the nose for LOTR cards, so I was lucky Smiley

Hey thanks for that guys, I think it was pretty much a steal too...well for the moment, unless TT Merry's drop dramatically....

I was going to go for the FOTR Frodo as well but I missed it (and almost missed the Merry)  Roll Eyes

Well I received my Merry today and it is a NICE card...postage was a bit worrying though, only posted in an envelope, and only in a top-loader, no penny sleeve..but I fixed that up pretty quickly  Cheesy

It is a nice sig and very nice sharp corners, no marks at all...in mint cond which is GREAT

I now have TT Merry, Pippin, and Galadriel...maybe I should continue on the TT path for LOTR and only get TT autos...I dont know! The only other LOTR auto I have is a Trilogy Arwen.

Ah cool! My FOTR Arwen was rhe same - sent in a penny sleeve with some bubblewrap in an envelope Undecided but it arrived safely as well.

TT would be the next best looking set to FOTR. I only have TT Eowyn and Leggy though Undecided
