Could you imagine my tutors face though. "And it was then when the Dark wizard Grindlewald attacked the muggles they were all told it had been a bomb as the dead lay dieing" do you think I would get good marks Actaully it is interesting in the whole comparison thing with fascism and such.

It's probably just a small module of a course, after all there's a lot to pour over, a lot to analyse and a lot to link and that's all I ever remember doing in English Literature classses

my thoughts on Dumbledore is that JKR has said before that we would find out why there are Ghosts in the wzarding world. I would think the easiest way for dumbledore to come back to help harry is as a Ghost!! as for Dumbledore having a Horcrux I would not like to see that as it would mean DD would use dark magic and be prepared to use the death of another for personal gain. DD is a great wizard who had a standard to which he lived and wanted Harry to live.

I wouldn't say Grindlewald was Hitler although if the Uk Muggle prime minister knows of the wizard minisiter maybe Hilter knew of Grindlewald and used him to his best advantage (or Grindlewald used Hilter) anyway maybe Voldemort worked as a spy for Grindlewald. I am currently studying the First and Second world wars (muggle version) I hope I don't suddenly bring Grindlewald into it I don't think I would get extra marks Ok I finnaly understand the Second World War. It was all Gindlewald's fault. He put an Imperious curse on Hilter (and others) and made them do all that. What better way to get rid of muggles than an all out war. Millions of muggles died if Grindly was like Voldy he'd have loved that and someone else was getting the blame. Thats it it all makes sense now, maybe Hilter did himself in when Grindly was deafeted and he realised what he had done I have a funny feeling I wouldn't get very high marks on my exam for this

Plus: When Harry came back to the common room and the Fat Lady said the password had changed at midnight, saying Harry could take it up with the Headmaster but he didn't think DD was back -- it was Nearly Headless Nick who said the Bloody Baron let him know that Dumbledore had returned, but was worn out ("not surprisingly" or something like that). I think that might mean that Dumbly was already working with the ghosts on part of his long-term plan!

Totally wild theory time Snape is Voldemorts grandson The two reasons I have for believing this at the moment are: 1. Snapes mum. The desciption of her was very much like Voldemorts mum, except for the cross eyes. It could be the Gaunt gene had come out, being more powerful than the muggle Riddle DNA 2. Voldemort trusts Snape. I can understand goody two shoes Dumbledore giving Snape a second (and third) chance but why Voldemort? I know all the things he said to Bellatrix but some of that doesn't ring true. I thing Voldemort is the shoot first ask questions later type. Anyway I now have two years to think of loads of other reasons that Snape is Voldys grandson and hopefully I will have convinced a few other people by then

What do you think it will be a straight carry on, so the new book takes up on the same day as the funeral. That would be different and totally unexpected I have just found on another site a person that correctly posted who the half blood prince was last year. Here's hoping that in two years time one of these wild theories will have as much success

I dont think DD would ever create a horcrux because remember it is very dark magic and DD wouldnt do that. But I still dont truly believe he is dead.

I think it is certain that DD knew (or at least felt) he would die before Voldemort would be defeated. Towards the end of book 6, particularly in the cave, he continuouly exclaimed how important Harry was. At one point he went as far to say that he felt safe because he was in the company of Harry. He realized that it would be Harry who would have to defeat Voldemort. However, I don't think that DD would leave Harry ill-equipped. Undoubtably, DD collected some amazing treasures and books during his lifetime. I have a feeling that at the start of the next book, Harry will 'inherit' or recieve word that DD left him some of these collections and ideas.

I think I remember reading somewhere that J.K. said something to the effect that, book 6 and 7 were almost one big whole book split in two. I am sure that the next book will pick up right where this one left off, especially considering this book didn't have the feeling of semi-closure that the last 5 have had. By that, I mean, their was at least a big fight or event. This, in my opinioin, was more of a downpoint leading toward a triumphant finish.

Sorry, I'm posting these seperately because they are concepts independent of each other and I don't want them to be misconstrued.
I do think that the unknown R.A.B. will be important. I have a feeling that Harry will run into him or seek him out somehow. Who else would have the knowledge that Voldemort would have developed the Horcreux? Dumbledore had made a comment that he was the only person with such intimate knowledge of Riddle's young life. So it must be a traitor Death Eater?
As it is, Harry would have no idea how to find the remaining Horcreuxs. One will probabaly be in the orphanage, as it seems that Voldemort left them in imporatant areas of his growth. It seems that DD showed Harry those memories for a reason. Could we expect for him to find a Horcreux at each spot of the memories?
Undoubtably, as R.A.B. has taken one Horcreux, he must be a talented and intelligent wizard, or close enough to Voldemort to know his secrets. Most likely, if he has taken one Horcreux, he would have gone after others. Maybe Harry won't have to hunt down all four (but I believe the real locket to be destroyed), or R.A.B. will assist him. Could R.A.B. be dead? In that case could Harry find his journals or such? Hmmm, more questions than perjections here.

I think Dumbledors BODY is gone but what about his picture. JK would have pointed it out so detailed if it wasnt part of a point. Maybe it will give him some advice or something...

I still think that Harry is, in a way or maybe is, Dumbledores Horcreux. I think he just said that you have to kill to have one because he wanted to tell Harry how Voldemort kills for a purpose not just for the heck of it. I think Dumbledore split it because he new that Harry was important and he might need him one day. He even might have been asked by James and Lyle to protect Harry like that after his birth

But it wasn't DD, but rather Slughorn, that informed us about how Horcreuxs may be made. So DD could not have been protecting Harry, because he did not know for certain what Slughorn would say.
