Aw, Mike.  That stinks.  Well, there is one more book to come out, so one more chance for a book party in a couple of years.  The important thing is you got the book.  And you made some cool props!  I hope you're feeling better.

I did think I might have finished if I had got mine at midnight but I didn't get it until nine, although I woke up at 6 and only dozed off and on after that. Roll Eyes

Yeah not bad, I don't know if I will get any sleep tonight would love to finish it in one day have never done that with a book. Although two days wouldn't be bad I suppose

Oh Mike sorry you couldn't go to your party, but as Kelly said there is another book to come.  And that will be a party to end all parties.  Even I might go (child or no child Wink)

Spooky thing happened Saturday morning though.  I am reading happilly in bed when the door bell rang at about 8.00am.  An incredilbly jolly postman hands over a large parcel and says 'here's your Harry Potter'

Well as I hadn't ordered one I thought 'nooooo, must be something else'.  But yes it was another copy; my Dad had won me one from the Daily Mirror.  I don't what shocked me the most; that I had won a prize or that the postman had shown up before noon and was happy  Grin
