The time has come!
Is there anyone here interested in beanies? I am unloading mine and thought to give some people a shot who would give them a good home.

Let me know I am compiling a list.. mostly bears lots and lots of 3g tags and a couple 2G tags

I too have a lot of Beanies for too! I use to collect them, but then I moved and I lost interst.
Are these from you personal collection? I have a lot of UK exclusives, like Buckingham, Britannia (beanie & Buddy), England the Bear ( England Exclusive ), Thistle the bear (Ty Europe Exclusive) and Daffodil the bear (Ty Europe Exclusive).

I collect Beanie Babies too but they only place to get them is in hte Ty Store at the mall and their really expensive.

I was collecting for me, to have a room of beanies and one day for my kids, but I dont think it is worth is not ( and weta is taking over ) but I just dont want to have allt hese around, I have cases beanies you name it! ones from other countries ( all listed but buckingham )

I will be keeping a few of them that people got me or helpe dme get or ones that mean something but there will be a handful or 3 of those.

So I was and have been collecting for myself and decided it was enough It would have been a nice room to have them all on shelfs in cases but he wont stop.. I decided to only collect bears and sold off my collection and he brings out bears gallore! it is sick! the I love state city country bears now the a-z bears it is crazy it will never end

I will be saving the mr and mrs bears for my wedding cake one day if I decide to go that path

it is hard as like I said I had these ideas for them andhave had some of them for a long time but I just feel it wont end and savingthe moen for a house is a better idea atm

I counted my mothers bears - she has 81

I used to collect Swatch watches - I still have over 400 of the damn things but they got the same as Beanie Babies.  It was great at first and the special editions were really quite clever.  But then the Olympics came along, Swatch became the official timekeepers and it all went pear shaped.  They got too full of themselves and fully expected the collectors to buy ANYTHING they threw at them.  Trouble was, we didn't want just ANYTHING.  We wanted things the way they were back in the mid 1980's.  So Swatch started to fade and then they started putting new straps on all the old, unsold stock they had lying around in the warehouses and it all fell apart for them.  Shame really.

I never got cought up in the Beanie thing although I do have a few bears.  I have a lot of McDonalds teenies if anyone is interested in those also.  And SWATCH WATCHES!  Wow, that brings me back!  When I was in school you were'nt "cool" unless you had 2 or three on the same arm complete with the useless little rubber Swatch protectors on the top.  The only one I have now is my dive watch.
