That's interesting ... it's the UK spelling not the US version - 'flavour' and 'Bertie Botts' - I thought it would be Americanised! Roll Eyes Wink
Aren't they Bertie Botts there then Huh

Didn't Anna get one of those face variants for her collection a little while ago?
It was a beautiful swatch and the envy of many! Wink

This is the one I have:

After seeing the box, the fold line on your card makes sense now, Anna. It must be from the top of the box. It proves that it did come from the candy box.

Hey, the picture shows a blonde and a redhead, and Anna has a child with black hair.  Who has the brunette? Smiley

My mother-in-law bought the kids a Chamber of Secrets coloring book that had stickers.  I was surprised to see a sticker of the Bertie Botts box.  I thought people might like a picture that shows two sides of the box. Smiley  Anna and I both think that there must be a different face on each side.

Here's my card, again. -----Pulled it myself, too.

It's wonderful to see the swatches and be able to place them in relation to the packaging ... not that I'm turning green with envy you understand .... Tongue

Perhaps they think 'Bertie' is too frightfully-British-stiff-upper-lip to sell well in the States Dawn Huh
You probably hadn't noticed before till you'd seen a full-sized pic (or at least a bigger pic) of the box the Bertie Botts is packaged in in the films. I've never seen them to buy like that here in the UK - and I have looked for them too - so expect LOTS of HP-related sweets and choccies near the time of GoF being released. Just in time for Xmas too!! YUM! Grin

Opps! I stand - or should I say 'sit' corrected Kelly! Wink

Argos ... *pfah* ... I'm nearly always disappointed at the stock they offer these days Dawn - they're trying to cover too many items and mostly not the stuff ppl want. Roll Eyes
The new catalogue weighs a ton - imagine how much paper pulp they've got through printing all that lot! Undecided
You're probably better off going to the Co-Op toy department and seeing what they've got in there. Wink
I should've mentioned Toys-R-Us ... but I totally loathe the store near me and hate going in there. It seems to be full of staff who have little or no idea on what stock they have or where in the store it is and most of them are completely charmless too - not what I would call a pleasant shopping experience! Tongue

On the plus side you get a good work out just lifting the Argos catalogue and they do have a Harry film cell presentation, bit no action figers. Not that a woman my age should want them *whistles uncoviningly*. I'll maybe try the co-op, we dont have a local Toys-r-us anyway.

Woollies might have some HP stuff in too don't forget!
ermmmmm where else to look ..... Toymaster ..... ermmmm ..... don't think Boots will have anything - what about W H Smiths?
Asda ... Tesco .... Morrisons/Safeways .... M & S .... Sainsburys (so you can see Tiny Lil Bill!  Tongue) - dunno if any of this lot will have anything in store yet, but it might be worth a quick peek! Wink

Don't have a woolies either (did years ago but thats an other story) although checked one out the other week while on holiday and it was HP free Sad

My Smithes currently have ancient old HP (cartoon) stickers which I have no idea where they dug them out from.

M&S is usually good but its not usually the film stuff its usually the illustrated stuff and costumes they dont make big enough >:-()

Asda is usually good, I have to go future a feild for Tesco's Sad I haven't seen anything in Sainsburies other than the book and the DVD (although I love them I got poster number two Grin )

I will keep my eye out and report back Wink
