I finally got a case!!!

Hi,
I've been lurking forever but I finally have some news that would make me register! I have bought a case! I'm so excited. So far I've only been able to buy a box from my local dealer, but I was so lucky with that box it started a fever. In that box I pulled a hermione auto card and a candy prop card (can't remember the name). I can't wait till I get the case! This is so much more addictive than LOTR.

There are loads of benefits to being a member - entering the competition for one!!! What harm does it do - to everyone who's lurking please dont' - it's great to hear lots of voices and opinions!!!

Heh - maybe when you get a Hermione and prop in one box - remember I got 3 dud boxes out of 5 so you are not always that lucky

Samwise, I will sell the hermione card if I get a double in the case. I will let you know. Right now I'm just so excited about the case.

Roz I will definetely enter the competition. I found out about the HP cards so late, I have no promos cards at all!

Well my case should arrive tomorrow! I'll let you guys know when it comes. I was wondering if anyone knew how to spot a "hot box" from the rest. I know I'm not lucky enough to get one, but I'm so curious.

Unfortunatly you can't tell if it is a hotbox from the outside of the box, you have to take the chanceand open it. Well to be honest i shouldn't say unfortunatly, i think it is good they don't mark it as a hotbox otherwise none of us collectors will have a chance getting one with all those dealers stealing them  

What i will say is when you get it, go through every box, shake them softly side to side to see if you can hear a box topper, if you can hear more than one (4 box toppers) it is a hotbox. Sometimes you have to give it a real shake. Hope all goes well. Put in this thread your box/case breakdown and some scans if you can in the other topic pinned in this section

It arrived today!!! I just finished opening it and i'll post the findings on the odds thread shortly.

Thanks to everyone with advice on the hot box. I didn't get one, but I got 1 card that made the whole case fun to open.

The list is up on the odds page. I had a question though. How are you guys storing your prop/costume cards??? I have the cases for auto cards, and cases for super thick cards like the LOTR costume, but these cards won't fit well in either.
