The cases were shuffled around so much that even if they were collated I'm sure I got them all uncollated. Just the luck of the draw. Who knows, the other 19 cases may not have a single JD auto in them. But I'm now looking for the Golden Ticket. Any bets......  John, you must have jinxed yourself with your prediction, well maybe the other 5 cases have 5 more depps and 5 golden tickets.  Now that you have opened a lot of CATCF I would love to hear your opinion if you dare share it. |

I am going to put some stuff on ebay. However, I don't "tout" ( I mean that in a friendly way.) here on the FORUM because I've seen that SOME people seem to be offended. I don't want the members thinking that I'm using the FORUM for personal gain. That's also why I don't post my ebay ID on the FORUM. I've been an ebay member since 1998 and I have 100% positive feedback. I am considering using private auctions as well because of these same reasons, unless its for very common things like chase sets and base card sets and low priced items. HERE is an example of an ebay hassle: (Buyers name not provided of course.) "Had no luck on my visit to my local post office on Saturday. It is becoming more and more apparent that these cards have been lost in the mail. While I did not make use of the insurance option you offered in your listing, your listing did not specifically state that you would not be liable in the event of loss or damage during shipment. I can't think of a single business in this country which would expect me to pay for something I have not received. I also recognize you shipped the cards in good faith and have provided me with proof of mailing. I wonder if you might be willing to split the difference for this failed transaction and refund half of what I have paid for the cards and shipping. It just doesn't seem right that I should have to shoulder the full burden for this loss. Please let me know if you find this agreeable or not. Thanks. I sent the person the refund. I might add that if (Get this!) $5.49 is a burden you ought not to be bidding on ebay. Of course, I didn't say that to the person. I wonder if this individual can walk and chew gum at the same time... DUH??? insurance is not for my protection, it's for the buyer's. You have NOOOO idea of what I really wanted to say. I know what you mean. I sell also, though not cards usually. My beef is the person who lives in Washington state and files for a refund with paypal after only 5 days. My auctions clearly state that I live in Florida. It had been held at the PO for the person to pick up and had PO markings indicating that they had left 2 notices for him to pick it up at the PO. It was too big to fit the letter slot. Geez, the nerve of some people. I emailed the person that I had received the package and sent him scans of the PO markings. No response. |

Pffft... well its their loss if they don't respond - you've tried to get in contact with them for something that is their own mistake and I don't think that you can (or should have to) do any more for them. Plus you have half of their payment, and it serves them right of they don't get it back - surely there is a clause somewhere that says that people should be made to pay for stupidity. That was a bad break on your case RoscoLabri.  I cracked two cases and my best auto was a David Kelly (currently being sold at $39.99 BIN on eBay)  I was lucky though, I managed to pull a Wrapping Paper prop from my second case. If I didn't pull that one, I'd have been extremely disappointed. |

Depends! Are you willing to take the chance and buy another case and possibly lose some money or do you want to use the money and get all the great props that might not be in the case |

Mike's right. In the long run, it'll be cheaper just to get the individual cards you need off of eBay. That way you won't get any duplicates. When you buy boxes of Charlie, aside from the thrill of pack-opening, you're basically buying a chance at getting one of the rare cards (i.e. Depp Auto, Golden Ticket, Wrapping Paper and Mr Salt's Tie), but it's a slim chance. . |
