Ive been trying to transfer a heap of stuff from video tapes to DVDs, but Im a bit stuck, so if anyone could help that would be great. My computer came with the program ShowBiz2, which has allowed me to capture the footage from the tape onto the computer. It is an hour and a half, in two files (I cut the ads out of the middle). The total file size is 3.8gb, but when i click burn it says its over 4.7gb. I know for dvds that there are numerous qualities which can be selected, eg long play, extended play etc which allow for longer recordings, but my program doesnt seem to give me the option....  Undecided

Any suggestions etc greatly appreciated

A few weeks ago, I saw this device that you plug into your VHS and DVD Player and can copy your VHS's to DVD's. I have never used it but a computer wasnt involved so I thought it might be quite simple.
