I just won my first case insentive card ever yesterday and I've become much more interested in this thread. I got a wand prop which I know is a 10 case incentive and numbered to 205. But if there were only 800 cases sold, there should be a max of 80 wand props in circulation. Where are the extra 125 cards? 125 seems like a whole lot of cards to be kept back as replacements. I wrote Artbox and got this response:

Hello,
Thank you for your inquiry.
We have to make extras to provide to our Licensor due to the license agreement.
Hope that'll help you.
Thank you again.

Ok.....and that means what exactly? They have them at Artbox still or they have given them to Warner Bros? Anyone know?

It sounds as if they gave a number of the cards to Warner Bros. I'll bet it was the same for the coin cards, maybe for every single card they make.

Yes they do give a lot to Warner Bros etc, but that's still 130 wands that shouldn't have been given away. It's been the same right through - with the peartree, honeydukes candy etc. I understand they have to give some to actors etc (although I doubt this as Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) had not heard about cape cards etc) 130 is a lot of spares!
