I have a few minutes, so help me out.  How do I search a specific date?  I can do the 4th, but how do I search for a date, and what search am I using?

Roz, just noticed that the different coloured promos are now missing from the guide. Let me know if you need me to send more scans of the cards.

I did an advanced search, then entered Harry Potter stone, then checked the "completed auctions only" box.  As far as I know, you have to click pages to find the dates.  The 2nd was around the 80's.  4th may be around the 70's.

Yup. I can verify that all of June 2nd is done. I really ought to check my pm's more often - could have saved a bit of headache there Wink I did start to think it was odd, but thought that maybe certain sellers had done all their own.

Bad news.  I am leaving work right now, and my computer at home still has slow dial up internet (free service) so there is no way I can enter them tonight, as I only get 10 free hours a month, and it takes a good 5 minutes to load a page on that thing.  I know, I need better access.  Give me some time (I personally like it because I don't win as many auctions as I could if I had fast service, so I save money).  Anyway, tomorrow, I will check back and see what was not done yet, and help out.  Thanks!!!!

I felt bad about that. Sad  Maybe from now on we should announce when we start a day.  That way no one will be trying to do the same one.

I just looked at Goyle's auto in the price guide to see the minimum it went for, which was mine, but it shws no sales after 6/3, through like 2 days ago. If I wasn't at work, I would enter them.

They probably have been entered, but Roz has to verify the auctions before they appear in the guide.

I got home from work, and was checking to see if there were other dates to do. I had a recent tally of last-five averages and the lowest price auctions, so I checked ones where the new lists showed a higher lowest. Pretty much all of them had been entered, even if they didn't show up (Roz is still confirming).

So if anybody knows of a date that hasn't been covered, let me know!

I was watching the "lowest winning bid" numbers because at my peak I had won 7 of them. Wink  Now it's down to 5, though I was beaten only by a penny on one.

One trick for people who are doing completed-auction searches. Start with the "Advanced Search" link, but when you're there click on a second "Advanced Search" link. This will activate more options, like telling them to show all auctions everywhere, even if the seller won't ship to you. Otherwise, completed auctions at ebay.co.uk won't show auctions listed as shipping to USA only and ebay.com searches won't show auctions that won't ship outside the UK or Europe.

June 7 is done and I'm part way through June 6.  It's time for bed, so I'll finish the 6th in the morning.

That leaves us with June 5, maybe part of 12, and 13.  We're almost there! Cheesy

This is just a silly little question but I thought I would ask anyway  Smiley

Is anyone having any problems with the 'Show unread posts since last visit' button?  When I have been clicking on it I will have maybe 10 items, click back and it has reduced to one and then next click I am back to 9.  It really is no big deal but when it comes to computers I am one of these that thinks mole hills are usually mountains in disguise  Grin

I don't use that feature much.  What happens when I do is that there will be a certain number of messages.  I'll click on one to read it, then when I go back to unread posts, the one that I read will no longer appear on the list.
