After seeing Star Wars III I went out and purchased two Lucas Arts Star Wars games for my PC.
Republic Commando is a very cool first person shooter that places you in command of a Republic Commando squad of 3 others beside yourself. The gameplay, graphics, and especially the squads AI is outstanding. Giving them commands is very simple to do especially in the heat of battle. The battle continues with this one!!!
The other is an older game from 2003 entitled Knights of the Old Republic and it states on the box that it was game of the year in 2003. It is a Role Playing game set 4000 years before the Galactic Empire and says hundreds of Jedi Knights have fallen in battle against the ruthless Sith. You are the last hope of the Jedi Order. Can you master the awsome power of the Force on your quest to save the Republic or will you fall to the lure of the Dark Side? Hero or villian, savior or conqueroe, you alone will determine the destiny of the entire galaxy! Pretty responsible position huh! I like it very much so far. This game looks immense with so many unique characters, creatures, vehicles, and planets to explore.
Anyone else play either of these games? I know that Republic Commando was also released for the XBrick and possibly the PS2.
