oh daammmnnn girl...that is a hard decision!!! Its up to you really, it depends on if you really want the autos or if you are willing to keep it and sell it later on...will it be cheaper to buy the autos you want on fleabay or open the box and try your luck at the autos, that I think is really what you need to look at... what you want out of the box, and is there a cheaper way of getting it...

What are the chances of pulling a JRD and a Gandalf out of it... they are the 2 I really want and they are the most expensive... typical  Maybe a Frodo actually  Aaaargh!!!!  |

Oh I wasn't wanting all 3 in there... that would be plain greedy ( but it WOULD be lovely). One of the three would be OK! Its just that I have a few FOTR autos already and it would be a pain to have doubles |

What Auto Cards were you able to pull from the Hobby Boxes and which ones from the Retail Boxes? If you know what cards are available from your Hobby Box it might make it easier to decide to open it or not. I do not know the answer to this as I started collecting with The Fellowship Update set.

The FOTR autos I want most of all are Elrond (retail) and Gandalf/Frodo/Gimli (all hobby) I already have Aragorn, Arwen, Galadriel, Boromir (not in packs) and Legolas (retail only and coming soon hopefully) so doubles of Aragorn, Arwen and Galadriel would be irritating, but Ebay could take care of them. And of course i can sell base sets for $50 on fleabay  The only IF is that if I pull a Sam or Pippin I will be very very very annoyed  |

ok so 3 that you really want you could pull...(Gandalf, Frodo, Gimli)
3 that you already have but could sell on ebay for a good price....(Aragorn, Arwen, Galadriel)
so that makes 6 good ones...
and only 2 ones that you wouldnt want..
so there are triple the autos that you would want compared to what you dont want....(does that make sense?)
also what about Ian Holm as Bilbo, I thought he was in there too??

Bilbo I wouldn't be too enamoured of either.... So want: Gandalf, Gimli, Frodo OK with: Aragorn, Arwen, Galadriel Don't really want: Sam, Pippin, Bilbo I have my fingers crossed for 2 autos in my 36 packs  See, that's one thing that is better with the LOTR hobby boxes over the HP ones - more packs to open  Or maybe I should start a sealed box collection? I've got the hardest one already |

the FOTRU is hard to, sealed! but i would open it, i was watching a box a week or so ago and went out forgot it ended or I would have gotten it, if i get one I will open it, just because! would be fun, I duno I have all the autos I would sya open it, use the force FTY! |

It wouldn't take much of the force to get me to open it... I thought about keeping my TT hobby box sealed and lasted 30 min  would be fun, I duno I have all the autos You know we are insanely jealous already, right?  |

LOL I like Jas a lot. but this one we disagree on Keep it sealed, and buy a FOTRU, TT, TTU, ROTK, ROTKU and Trilogy, the last 3 should be as cheap as Chips |
