If you check the seller's other items, there's one auction for three filmcards, a case card, and a costume (this one from update).  I think it's safe to say that the seller has cherry picked the boxes in his/her case and is now trying to get rid of the extra packs.  There may be a small possiblity of an auto, but I think that's unlikely.

Ah as I thought, well the cards being so thick for this set they are easy to spot. I have seen Zach with spare packets but he says that it is unlikely there are any chase cards in there. Much fairer and up front. I feel bad there may be people out there that can't afford a box and go for that not realising all they will get is a pack full of base cards and a foil if they are lucky Sad

When i was opening all my boxes, the first thing i did was bending the packs a little bit. Because i was very curious and not patient enough to wait with opening the first premium insert. Believe me, this can happen very fast. After that i startet opening the rest until i found the 2nd insert. When done, the next box followed, the rest went back. So i had lots and lots of unopened packs yesterday, i could have sold a full case with those opened boxes. No need to say that i won't. I opened all the rest yesterday. And no need to say that there was not one premium insert inside all of these packs. This is a problem when you can be almost sure, not to have more than 2 inserts per box. Those auctions are the result ...
But everybody should know that ...

I tried to to look for the interesting packets but its its soooooo obvious. I'm sure we could all sell out useless packs. Its not right. And they way they have put it to like they are giving you some big deal, with the i decided not to sell them as cases but indiviual packs, yeah so you can have all the good ones for yourself. Angry not good

Well I know I was very lucky, but I did get 5 inserts in one box! (It evened out over the case pretty much) but still - there is always hope. But to be honest, at $1 each the seller couldn't afford for these to be packs with a chance of an insert in - even at the best price I have heard it costs more than $2 a pack.

The age old saying "if something looks too good to be true, then it probably is too good to be true" still stands!

I sometimes go for some of the "bulk packs that almost certainly have been searched" offers, if they're cheap. I have enough friends and family who would like a base set. Complete base card sets are nice for gifting to people who haven't taken up the hobby of collecting the scarce cards!  And a swatch of Lupin's coat or Harry's cardigan can be a treasure. Wink

It's pretty hard to cherry-pick a pack containing an autograph, just from "feel," and sometimes (rarely) they miss one of the thinner costumes or props. It would be more honest to state in an auction that the packs came from searched boxes -- I know what to expect, but sometimes the bidding goes too high because of people who don't.
