I am sure we have all read comments about what number boxes have the rarer cards in them. There seems to be an opinion that the lower number boxes have the rare cards.
I have reviewed my cards (with numbers less than 141 isssued) and compiled a list which is attached. It may just be a quirk in the way the that the cases were packed for different geographical areas of the world. We may never know. Anyway here are my results. And by the way, as you can see, I've found only 8 cards in 130 boxes.

Rare Prop (140 or less) vs Box Number:

Box 1406
Devil's Snare Prop 031-100
Harry's Quidditch Robe 181-410

Box 1823
Harry's Letter Delivered to 4 Privet Drive 120-130
Warwick Davis as Professor Flitwick Auto

Box 2725 ----------------------------------------------------------->  Also a rare autograph, this box is listed again at the end
Chocolate Frog Prop 122-127
John Hurt as Mr Ollivander Autograph

Box 4018
Alfred Enoch as Dean Thomas Autograph
Harry's Acceptance Letter and Shopping List 061-130

Box 4123 :
Geraldine Sommerville as Lily Potter
Gringotts Top Secret Letter PROP 056-140

Box 5330  ---Note: 23 Packs
Acceptance Letter and Shopping List 067-130 Prop
Ian Hart as Professor Quirrell Autograph

Box 5696
Harry's Letter Delivered to 4 Privet Drive 020-130
Joshua Herdman as Gregory Goyle Autograph

Box 5729
Gringotts Top Secret Letter 136-140 with Green Ink
Neville's PJs Costume 283-520

I left the other card that was in the box as well, if there was one to show distribution. As for myself, I've never found 2 autographs in the same box.

Rare Autograph (Cleese and Hurt) box numbers:

Box 2103
Fluffy's Fur Prop 291-700
John Hurt as Mr. Ollivander Autograph

Box 2725 ----------------------------------------------------------> I must say, this was a very nice box.
Chocolate Frog Prop 122-127
John Hurt as Mr Ollivander Autograph

Box 4904
Male Hogwarts Student Costume 419-750
Hagrid Prepares Hogwarts for Christmas Cinema FilmCard 232-397 (Film: Goblin Bank Teller)
John Cleese as Nearly Headless Nick Autograph

The only thing that does stand out is that I have found none in Series 6000 or 7000 numbered boxes. Perhaps others can add to these findings.
I also found none in the Series 0000 or 3000 numbers.
I hope that you find this useful.

It seems since we really have no idea how they did the numbering that we are probably reaching on it.?.?   When I was thinking about who really knows when they put the numbers on the box, it is just variable data and a software program could just put the stickers on each box in random sequence.

I did find it interesting that I actually did have to consecutive #'d boxes right next to each other, just one case though, but I thought that was interesting. Undecided

well, I am opening a 3000 series and 5000 series tonight.  Wish me luck.

Should we add the SS card to these numbers?

I think the Stone card will end up being just as rare as a 130-140 card.  I don't think a lot of people will want to give them up.  And SO many people want one.  Me included! Grin

I'll add my SS card to the list, it's a hard one to find. I choose the two rarest autos. But, you know, for some weird Joshua Herdman seems a little scarce, at least to me.
