I just saw the trailer again for Narnia.  It gave me goosebumps!  Does anyone know if there will be a set made for the movie?  If so, who will do it?  I would by a case for this movie, it looks GREAT!

*Technically* it would be an Upper Deck property since they own the rights to produce all Disney films, etc. However, I've not heard anything of it.

Upper Deck also would have been the one to do Pirates of the Caribbean and we all know how wonderfully non-existant those cards were Sad

I would say, right.  The only one's I can remember have been Disney cartoon "kid" sets with maybe a foil card every 24 packs or so.  It' too bad, they are really missing out on some good opportunities.  That goes for Disney as well.

Yeah I think a card set of this could do very well, especially fi they did Artbox style prop cards Cheesy But we shall have to see... with Upper Deck I don't think we should hold our breath for anything good

They might do something good, but they might not tell anybody about it.

But if we worry about Upper Deck, I have to mention that Wizards of the Coast has the license for Narnia gaming-related cards. After the treatment for Sorcerer's Stone, I think I might prefer UD. We can expect non-card offerings from Weta. (And can't Upper Deck just hire Gary Gerani to design their sets, like so many other companies do?)

I just saw that Dawn French (fat lady in HP) is going to be in the Narnia movie.  Anyone know who she will play?

She reportedly plays the voice of Mrs. Beaver: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0294067

Wizards has the license for gaming cards. Let's just say I hope they don't do trading cards too, in the manner of Sorcerer's Stone.
