I've had an idea I'm not sure if it would work or not. But I got an American GOF at a collectables fair and I thought it might be nice to have the other Ameircan versions. I was wondering if anyone fancied swapping if they sent me an American one I would send a Brit one. I think it would have to be paperbacks, as postage on hardback would be a bit steep. Any of our dear American friends fancy a swap?

Can I also add that there are childrens and Adult additions of the books in the UK. I personally love the new artwork on the Adult ones Grin

(ps I lost an auction for one it was and SS but it had a different cover it was blue with a cloaked figure walking along, what was that one all about  Huh)

Are you sure it was an American edition? Do you have the auction?

Its by Scholastic but I have never seen that cover before. I think I am going to regret letting it get away especially when you see how much it went for  Embarrassed

No worrys. They are all different. I can get you all the way up to POA. All three books have been released with Special Edtion Covers. You saw SS, that was Quirrl running into the Forres. COS has a red cover with the entrence to the Chanber of Secrets on it. Actually, I made a mistake. Only SS and COS are out. Sorry, thinking about the spanish editions Tongue . Here some pictures

See I am easily confused, it doesn't take much. So would you like a paper back Philosophers stone? If so we could do a swap, you get the SS and I'll get the PS and send them to each other. (So I wouldn't really be spending my own money that way lol I would be but i could pretend I wasn't lol). I don't plan to go shopping until the end of the week anyway, so you can think about it. Also if you do want one kids or Adult addition? The Adult addition is just the same but the artwork on the front is different.
