I think I read

a costume in each box
5 autos per case
3 props a case
and 3 filmcards a case

But that may be a slip of the keyboard, as that would mean cases were overloaded with things, we'll have to wait and see - info on insert odds are always rather vague at this stage.

Normally, I want it to be a costume or prop per box, as that gives me a better shot at pulling a prop (although I rarely do), but with this set, I think I like the costumes more...so far anyway. Although, if those odds are right, it would be nice to get 2-3 inserts per box again, you know?

Is it just me, or is there less in this set that there was in SS? You would think that with SS being an older movie, they would have been able to obtain less props and costumes than for this set, which is a brand new movie.

Well you cant use everything from the movie then there would have to be 2000 cases to hold everything ROFL!

Artbox doesn't announce every card with the first release of info. I'm sure we'll find out about more cards sometime next month.

To be fair, Inkworks is coming out with the LOST set in November as well, and there is absolutely no information that I could find on that either. So at least we got something from Artbox.

I agree. If it's going to be one costume per box, I may end up buying a case. That way if the collation is good, I'll have nearly a complete costume set. I guess we'll see.

I gotta agree with LikORish-Spider on this one; the info/rumors up 'til now make the set seem uninspired. I could do without a Seamus or Prof. Flitwick auto again, go for some other member of Gryffindor or a different Prof. I am glad to see Brendan Gleeson and Miranda Richardson's autos in there, but really, they are the only ones I'm glad to see in there so far (I know, they have 2 of the 4 Triwizard Champions, half of them, but that's like having half a horseshoe; just can't play the game that way :p). As for the props, three from the Yule Ball, a Dragon Bag and Canopy, and a Burnt Tent? A Burnt Tent?!? Think of how big a tent is; it'll be like the Lupin Coat of the series, numbered to 4000, and your variants are crispy or non-crispy. And the one set in which a couple of Quidditch Robe cards would have been nice, they are gone. I mean, common, the Irish teams dark emerald green robes would make wonderful costume cards, and Bulgerias dark red would...um...okay, we have that color already, but that's besides the point really. I am looking forward to the Dumbledore costume card...or is that the material used to make Dumbledore's Costume card? Hm. Maybe I'm being overly harsh, and we really don't have the whole picture on the set yet, but I'm just not that excited about it yet (I'll admit, I was much more excited about SS at this point).

We'll, given that this will be coming out the beginning of Nov. (or so they say), only a week or two before the movie, even that prospect isn't as enticing as it might have been.

As for the props, three from the Yule Ball

POAU had three from the Divination class: Unfogging the Future book, the red material with gold stitching, and the second Divination material prop that had two variations (blue background and purple background). There were some really good variants for all of those cards. Maybe the Yule Ball will also have nice variants. Praying On the other hand, if those cards are very limited in number, their appeal will increase immensely!

And as for a burnt tent, sure hope the "burnt" smell is out of it.

I don't know, that might be kinda cool; like a scratch & sniff prop card you didn't have to scratch to sniff. Evil

Easy answer for that one: Make one of the props a piece of Mad-Eye's trunk! Plenty of room behind the fifth lock.

Cool The scratch and sniff sounds like a great idea. lol ROFL! Maybe some socks? or maybe smelly t-shirt? The possiblilites are endless. Artbox needs to come up with something that will bring their franchise back "online". It almost seems that they dont have the money to sign the big name actors for autos and people that actually know how to be creative on the harry potter cards. Me and my son were talking about this the other day and he said that is why they produced so many of the POA update so they could pay the big 3. Evil What do you guys think?

It's estimated that Emma and Rupert signed about 150 each, and Dan less than 100. Just how much would they have been paid for that?

A lot of other sets have sketch cards. If Artbox is having problems getting enough autos, maybe they should consider adding sketches. They haven't tried this before, so it might get them some attention.

As for smelly cards, Artbox missed an opportunity with the SS set -- a troll costume! We have a pop-up book for SS. When we open the two-page spread with the troll, there's a terrible odor. At first I thought something was wrong with the book. Then I saw a small, round spot on a page and realized it was a scratch-and-sniff spot. You definitely don't have to scratch it! The smell is truly nauseating. Cheesy That is a good idea! Sketch cards worked well with Star Wars. I hope artbox is reading this. I believe alot of collectors would jump in on this idea. Maybe they should further and have custumes and sketch cards together. I dont believe thats ever been done. How about autos and costumes together? My son told me that would be a great idea. Many of the sport cards that he collects are doing this now. Wow they have alot of options! Lets hope they suprise us because if they dont they will loose alot of collectors. At this point in the game, any spurt of creativy on Artbox's part may seem like desperation to those who have abandoned the ship, and those halfway over the side; but still, it'd be nice to see 'em get really creative.
