You know, I am sure someone here in the US would be willing to buy the game and ship it to those in the UK.  Problem is, I don't plain on going to Barnes and Noble for a while.  And I don't know how much shipping would cost Undecided

Let's say "Europe" instead of "UK".  Roll Eyes

Last week on went on line to B&N to try and purchase this game.  It wasn't available but I was able to pre-order it.  It is supposed to be "released" on September 10.  It is the"Deluxe" DVD set in the tin with the cards!!!http://search.barnesandnoble.com/booksearch/isbnInquiry.asp?userid=gT4J7z1CMQ&isbn=1933318139&itm=1

Now, as the warning says. There are about 15 images I have seen from the Scene It? game from GOF. A few like Fleur, Cedir, Harry and Ron, Krum we've seen. But there are three we so far havent. One of them is Emma with her hair blowing back, one is of Krums headmaster, and the other is of the Triwizard Cup. The first two of Emma and Karoff are pictures like of Mad-Eye Moody, in a crystal ball, so all you actually see it their faces. The TriCup, as I call it, is bigger. Its standing on a kind of wooden or stone basin surroundred by four walls of the maze. Very exciting. I've been playing for about three hours straight and havent seen any snippets from the movie like the B&N site promises but I forgt to suffle up the guestions after playing Party Play.

Will update when I see more...

Got one, quick I know LOL

Its of Harry from the First Task, looking upward probably at the Firebolt or Dragon

Yet again,

This time its Cedirc in the Maze holding his wand and Arthur Weasley

I, again, havent seen any clips or snippets of audio. Just photos and puzzles. I havent Shuffles the anwsers yet, I'll be playing it again Sunday so maybe I'll get lucky!

If you buy a US version of the game for $49.99 that will no doubt save you some money. One question you should be asking is will the DVD play on European DVD players?
I understand that the DVD players  may have different codes.

I think they probably mean as many models as possible Mike.  The US version is definately a region 1 DVD.  The UK is region 2, along with I think France and Japan - but don't quote me.  I am pretty sure Germany is another region altogether - are you a region 3?  Unless you have a multi region DVD this will not play on your player.  Even some region 0 are having problems now (region 0 or region free DVD players were surpossed to play any disc but the companies are putting a special code on some discs to stop this.)

For anyone in the UK, WH Smiths do two DVD players that are multi region and only cost £30.  I have bought both version for various people and they are very good players - all the usual features plus things like zoom.  Graham has had his about 2 years now and, touch wood, it has been fine.

So on top of having to find a US distrubutor to send to the UK, paying loads of postage and risking import duty you now have to buy a new DVD player.  Now that is what you call devotion to Harry Potter  ROFL!

Like Sharon i see no problem in play the US DVD on a German or UK DVD-Player. I bought mine in 1999 and this player is codefree and play everying i want (except my pizza)

The other problem is that i do not want to play the english game alone   :'(

I'll be deleting them after the DVD comes out of my computer and PhotoBucket (no since in having them when I got the movie Tongue ) so I guess I can leave them up till people stop drooling over them and trying to figure stuff out ROFL!

Well I cracked today and opened the Scene It game.  Barnes and Noble were being very unhelpful about replacing it and I didn't want to risk not having the cards  Hopping Mad

But good news is that it is perfect inside  Grin  I was a bit disappointed by the number of question cards but the game itself looks fab.  The challenges have been made - me and mum against dad and Bogleg.  So when we play I shall be popping out on the pretence of going to the loo but actually I will be logging on here for a little Yaky help.  I'll be counting on you  Grin

That's excellent Tower, and a good price too.  It is quite heavy though so the shipping will be pricey but sooooo worth it  Cheesy
