Boy Darthmactor, you really had some bad luck with those boxes (too may duplicates). Sad  Did you get all of the boxes from the same seller at the same time?

Actually, surprisingly, no, each was bought from a different seller over a period of a couple of weeks. I guess my luck is just really starting to go sour.  :'(

You'd actually have a better chance of getting different cards if you would have gotten the boxes from the same seller at the same time.  Then the boxes most likely would have been pulled from the same case and the cases are pretty good about having a variety of cards.

Yeah, I know, but being a recent ex-u.s. Marine and working at a video store until I go back to college, I can only afford x-amount at any one time, so it usually is a box every couple of weeks I may be able to treat myself with. Oh well, 'tis life.  Tongue

At least you are doing well in that most of your boxes have had 2 exciting items in Smiley

Yes, true, can't fault that. Two repeat items are better then one.  Angel

I bought 7 boxes, and got two dups as well.  Harry's PJ's and Fluffy's fur.

Argh, I hated that while in, and I hate it now while out, if only because no matter what you say (ex-Marine, former Marine, once a Marine) they always come back with, "There is no such thing as a...". Well, more disliked then hate, I guess I should say, as while the notion is a true one, it just makes it difficult to find the right term (though, I suppose, since I'm still in the I.R.R. for another two years, I'm still a Marine by any definition, just not active duty anymore  Tongue).

Casey

P.S. ~ Don't get me wrong, I'm proud of my service and all that goes with it, I am just sick of a few choice phrases, that being among them. Smiley

How about "If I told you, then I would have to kill you."  Never could stand that one.  Tongue

Yeah, that one got kind of old ('specially since I worked in a MOS feild in which people could use that alot; plus, the closest to that the truth comes is, "If I told you, we'd both be spending at least the next 20 years in a federal prison."  Evil

I'm sure people didn't mean to be unkind Casey and you've every right to be proud of being a Marine - that's what you'll always be whether you're on active duty or not and is definitely nothing to be ashamed of! Grin

Hollywood has a LOT to answer for by pinching these phrases and using them in their films don't they!? Roll Eyes ROFL!

Pretty nice case, especially with the Gringotts letter...without it, it would have just been an average breakdown  Tongue

Yeah, it's the only "rare" prop card I pulled from this set, unfortunately it's a blank swatch. Tongue  This was the only case I opened that had a McG case topper too and one of the wand boxes is pretty cool looking.

Nice going! Looks like an above average case.  You got some nice uncommon autographs, too.
That Wand Box is nice. I have one like it, too. Only one out of my 14 was like that.
I keep my collection on an Excel spreadsheet so I can look things up quickly.

That one is number 020/842.  The other one (#821) is red snakeskin also, but I liked 020 a lot better.  Here's #821:
