Hey - I didn't volunteer! Grin

I promised my b/f that I would watch the final ages ago if his team made the final. Given that they were underdogs for the entire tournament, I thought I was pretty safe... but they made it to the final against all odds and made one of the most stunning upsets of the tournament's history, coming from 0-3 behind to draw 3 all and win on penalty goals

Listen to me - I sound like a football nut now ROFL!

Trey... thanks for posting out our boxes so quickly Kiss

Eh - he says that nothing beats watching the game live - at least I was able to curl up and use him as a cushion throughout the game Wink ... mind you it got pretty exciting, even by my non-football fandom status!

Actually, I don't have a VCR at my place! DVD all the way Wink

Did anyone else (especially the European members) watch the game at all?

OMG!!!! I just pulled the best card eva!! in my 2nd box (it was numbered 0091)  I got:

Harry's invitation delivered to privet drive 064/130
and it is really nice, with green writing at the top (spells ear so maybe part of 'dear') and black down the bottom of the swatch ahhh

I wish I had a scanner to show you all, but I will take a pic tonight and post up woo hooooo

Did anyone else (especially the European members) watch the game at all?

I saw the highlights I must say the PK by Shevchenko was crap.  How can you place it two feet from the position of the keeper.  I really didn't care who won as I was not playing. ROFL!  (did anyone catch that?)

I prefer Chelsea, although I did rather like liverpool, man U and Ajax a few years back.  I would have to say Zidane is my fav to watch, although Lothar Mattheus (sp) is my all time fav footballer.

About oh 7-8 yrs back (I am getting old) I was in Amsterdam watching when Ajax won the Euro Championship against Juventues (I think).  All I remember is Kluivert scored the game winner and there was beer being thrown in the air, hugs, and even a few smooches from the ladies Kiss.  It was a party like I have never seen, more excitement than the super bowl by far.

One of these days one of you is going to have to explain that Australian Rules Football to me.  I have watched it a few times and I love the physical nature, but it make no sense to me.  And what is with the freak in the suit who does the two arm finger point when they score Undecided

So the box was #'d under 200?  Is there a pattern here?  And everyone has to stop pulling these great low #'d props it is making me feel even worse :'(.  I thought if no one pulled any than I shouldn't feel so bad, it is a good thing you are in Aus so my bad luck can't rub off on you. ROFL!

Can't wait to see a picture of it!!!!!  Good job Trey.

I was thinking the same thing.  It seems all the NICE cards are in low numbered boxes as well.  Glad to see you noticed this too.  And I just got my last two boxes (didn't open them yet) but they are 4291 and 3762.
