I was just searching Ebay for the 'highest priced' of things (like you do) and just found these two items   Ebay!

1 -      http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=3239&item=6530209169&rd=1

2 -      http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=14279&item=6178675192&rd=1

Once you have looked at these see if you ask yourself the same questions I did.

a)  How on earth do you pick a starting price like this

b)  What is a Daguerreotype?

Answers on a post card to.......... Grin

Just found another one I had to add

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=35818&item=6177598984&rd=1

The Face of God?  Not even the face of John Merrick!!!!!!

Daguerreotypes are early photographs. Louis-Jacques-Mandé Daguerre invented the daguerreotype process in France. The invention was announced to the public on August 19, 1839 at a meeting of the French Academy of Sciences in Paris. American photographers quickly capitalized on this new invention, which was capable of capturing a "truthful likeness."

AAAAAHHHH!  I can't stand this kind of stuff! Hopping Mad  The kooks of auctions 1 & 3 give real Christians a bad name.  Oh sure, God gave him a vision to sell a rock for $33 million dollars!  Well, God just gave me a vision that all shack members need to send me thier SS boxes.  Any takers? Roll Eyes  The cloud thing is just stupid.  Oh well Sharon, at least we learned what a daguerrotype is.  Thanks, Sketchqueen! Grin
