lol!  You're warped, Sharon!  Can you imagine Fang getting shaved to make the creature cards?  Poor guy

Ha ha.  How silly do I feel  Grin  I had totally forgotten Fang was any different to say Buckbeak!  My excuse is that I thought he was CGI but in truth I had 'forgotten' the grim and Buckbeak were CGI and models. Embarrassed

I put this down to the intense strain of waiting for the SS and a new book and a new film and a new game all in the same year  Wink

lol!  You know, after I posted last time I thought maybe you were talking about Fluffy.  That would be an awesome creature card, but was he a model too, or just strictly CGI?

I think Fluffy  was a model and CGI dog too. There was no model of the Grimm in POA. They use a model to support the CGI and give the actors something to focus on. Thats what I saw anyways. Thats would be a nice *thick* creature card.

I'm pretty sure that there was a grimm model.  I vaguely remember seeing a "making of POA" TV special that showed the scene where Ron was pulled by Padfoot to the Whomping Willow.  They used a model and a crew member physically pulled Rupert across the ground.  Besides, if there had been no model, we wouldn't have the fur for the card. I love this scene where you can see the 'grim's' eys glow as he pulls Ron down.
