Million Dollar Baby is the movie that won 4 Academy Awards in the last Oscars show.  Best Picture, Best Director, Best Supporting Actor & Actress.  This movie has just come to my small community and after watching the movie I can see why it won those awards.  The film was outstanding in every aspect.  Clint Eastwood not only Directed the picture but has a major role in the film as a boxing trainer.  Morgan Freeman plays his assistant and Hillary Swank plays the aspiring woman boxer who never quits.  It is an amazing story of the human spirit and the drive to succeed.  It has a very powerful ending.  For those of you who have not seen it take the time to watch a very good movie or rent it from your video store when it comes out.

I know what you mean.  My wife and I have made it a point now to attend every weekend a movie of interest.  This way we know that we have a definate plan to get out and see them.

I thought it was a great movie and deserved everyone of the oscar's that it won.  I would definetly go watch it if you haven't seen it, does anyone know when it hits dvd?

I think the DVD will be out in May.

has anyone read the book that goes with the film(it may have come out first but i'm not sure) its only 5euro at my bookshop so i was wondering if its worth getting ?
