With efforts like these, you might as well not bother! It puts even the triple autograph to shame Tongue

No, it's 1/1 cut - this is the only one in existance, hence the price.

This will have been in a box at sometime I suppose but I've no idea of the set

Well - for instance there are 1/1 Walt Disney autos hidden in DIsney Treasures boxes.

You just have to find the right pack. Sound easy? Wink?

That dual star wars auto comes from a Baseball high end box.  They call the series Topps Tribute, they are about $250-$350 a box.  There are certainly some great cards to be pulled from that product.  Mostly it is retired hall of fame players, but there are some cuts inserted, too.  I think there is about 6 packs in a box.

Only for high end collectors, you could certainly end up with an unbelievable card(s), but you certainly could end up with about $50 worth of card, too.

Not the most solid investment, but if you like the chance of getting something rare high end boxes are the way to go.  I do buy a few high end boxes here and there, I actually bought a $375 box of hockey high end and ended up with a real nice auto'd patch # 9/10 of my favorite player, I acutally saw one sell on ebay for $425 Shocked  But I am keeping it, maybe my favorite card I have.  Of course I have had it go the other way too.

Thanks for the background Becks, very interesting.

If any interesting Non Sports card boxes go that way the Yak's nostrils will be flaring and flaming Wink
