Does anyone here collect Disney Treasures??

I have had a look and I am having the urge to buy a box to check it out, either series 2 (donald) or 3 (pooh). The sketch cards look pretty awesome.

What is the average price for a box these days do u think?

We haven't gone mad on them, but we bought the base sets with very basic chase which are beauties in themselves.

I got the impression about £20/AU$50?? Is about right for these boxes, but bewarned it doesn't seem possible to get a base set out of a box. However, if you do buy a box there are members on here who collect and I am sure they will help you out with the final ones.

Gimli/Sketchqueen and RNS seem to be our forum experts on this but there may be more to come out of the woodwork Smiley

I'm going to be selling off some of my Disney Treasure cards (to help finance my sketch card buying) - just base sets of Donald, Pooh and Holiday as well as some of the chase sets (Lion King, Donald Filmography) and some of the Film Cards - so if you're looking for something specific, let me know before I drop them on our old friend eBay Smiley

As for box prices - Series 1 runs about 50-60US while Series 2 and 3 run 40-50US usually ... I've seen lower prices. Pixar Treasures is IMPOSSIBLE to complete a base set from, and Holiday Treasures, until recently was only available in the little 4 pack boxes with Figure.

Also, I believe it's Series 2 that had a printing error - Silly Symphonies Card #6 was not inserted - instead they doubled on Card #9. Good luck finding that set Smiley

Oh hideously hard.

About as easy to find as the Ron/Harry/Hermione/Triple autographs!

They never seemed to have given any odds for finding them either  Sad
