I'm going to agree with you on Trilogy, but my reason is because it's the only LOTR set I have.

I have to side with FOTR... it had the best signer list and THE best card design of any release from any other company that I have seen. All the Fellowship and the major characters - what can I say - it was fantastic The TT set was pretty good as well!

Yep, FOTR. I mean, come on, Ian McKellen and Hugo Weaving as signers, that alone makes the set stand out.

FOTR hands down - no other set from any other series released (including those i have seen from other companies apart from Topps) has come even close to having as good an autograph card design as the FOTR set

I have to go with FOTR as well. I really like the map of Middle Earth used in the design, as well as the signers.

Me too - but to be fair I like all the sets - Roz and I are pretty close now (apart from some very pricey ones - Gimli, Eowyn, Merry etc) to having an auto from each character, but I do have to say we would try to get Fellowship where possible (definitely not FOTR Merry though) he heh

I've always liked the style and actor portraits on the TTT cards best, but the trilogy chrome ones aren't far behind in my favourites list.

We would never have guessed!! You'll have to post your 'new' projects as and when you get them signed ... I feel sure you do have more 'specials' waiting to be signed hmmm? It's an awesome set you've got there Jas! ~*~ We've discussed this before ... how Topps completely missed some signers and overkilled on others! He's clever with these 'specials' isn't he?

I do like The Fellowship but also like individual signed cards from The Two Towers and Return of the King. With actors who signed multiple cards I like the one which has the best image to my eye rather than from whatever set it came from. The Chrome cards are in another league by themselves as they do not match at all the first 3 sets of auto cards. I like them as well but not as much as the others.

While I still had my sets I liked Fellowship. The design was the best and there would good, legible (with the obvious exception), complete signatures (SB anyone?) and good signers. I haven't had any trilogy but they look really nice (and tempting) and would probably be second.
