Yes but me buying one box is highly unlikely that its going to be hot.  Roll Eyes

Rather than someone buying lord knows how many cases.

That is even if they have hot boxes

Even if I decide to get one box, I have the same feeling! Although I'm usually optimistic.

Well, ztaylork and MPC both got one... so it IS possible Wink

Then again, I shudder to think how many cases they opened up between them to get one!
I actually only opened 4 cases of the first and managed a hotbox, so I was extremely lucky Smiley

I am sure there will be dud boxes, I don't think artbox is capable of not having dud boxes.   I think they should change there name from artbox to dudbox.  Smiley  or if they do manage to fix it, it will be because they insert a costume card numbered to 100,000 inserted 20 per box and then in that case they should name the company nearly-dudbox which will work well in the theme of harry potter, maybe the 100,000 numbered prop card can be a piece of nearly-headless-nick and it can just be invisible.  Just my thoughts on the competency level of artbox, sorry if any employees from artbox are reading this (or rather having their mother read it to them)  I am sorry this turned into a rip on artbox, but in under a years time I have gone from praising them because of their creativity and I even sent them an email explaining that I thought they did a great job in comparison to topps, but now I feel bad, as I would almost gladly take a boring topps product that had an autograph in every box (or 2 and a costume in chrome) over artbox products.  sorry for the ranting, my 1 year old daughter kept me up a lot last night.  Smiley

Aren't the hotbox boxes a little more bulgy than the others?  So if you are buying only a couple boxes, chances are the dealer won't send you the "bulgy' box.

So 3 Shack members got 20% of the total amount of hotboxes out there!

And I think with hotboxes, the lenticulars in them rattle when you shake the box... that was the rumour anyway!

Well I personally think it is time artbox got the info out there we are almost half way through april already and still not much more than vague rumours this set is supposed to be out before the end of this month and that is quite worrying in terms of lack of info.

but i have to say i ain't really all that shocked

one of 2 things will happen

1 it will be bad news and everyone will be releaved they didn't pre order any

2 it will be a great set and everyone will start to panic

I would like to see some pictures, or names of signers listed by now.  How can they expect to sell a product without advertising it?  I hope with the less amount of pre-orders that they at least learn their lesson for GoF!  Did that petition ever get sent to them?

This is only what I have heard. Maybe someone here who had a hotbox can tell us for sure, but I don't think us one box buyers have a chance Undecided.  Don't worry, I am right there with you :'(

*hands up*

John's right and I am wrong. Apparently Mike made a mistake, it's 5 costumes a case!

Sorry if that throws out Gimli's calculations  Undecided

ok so lets make those changes
then there would be an average number of

15 props with an average of 266 of each
9 costumes with an average of 444 of each
8 Autos with an average of 500 of each
9 Film cards with an average of 266 of each

5 autos
5 Props
5 costumes and
3 film cards per case

but of course that is quite a drop 5 cards less a case so it is 2 boxes per case with 1 card and 8 with 2 maybe
