I will be sitting right beside Anna and Mike (who shares the same name with me  ). I've always been sorted with Hufflepuff, and it's always been my favorite house (along with Ravenclaw)! |

From the moment I read the book I knew Hufflepuff was my house just by reading the discription. I posted on another forum why Hufflepuff and Gryffindor are the friends and not the foe because in Gryffindor they have bravery and SMARTS in Hufflepuff SMARTS and FRIENDSHIP which is also featured in Gryffindor. I think Godric and Helga had a little thing, but never made it into the book.

Very interesting analysis! I always thought Ravenclaw house to have the smartest of the smart. After all, Hermione was almost put into Ravenclaw (like Harry could have been in Slytherin). Anyways, it's good to note that each type of student specific to each Hogwarts house may also to some extent be found in the students of other houses (hope that makes sense)! As for Godric and Helga, only JKR would know that. I wonder if she's going to incorporate any more magical history into the books ... |
