One year ago to the day TORN said the Hobbit would definitely be made.... so should be believe this? I don't think I will until I see it tomorrow Wink

Unfortunately The Hobbit story on the site was an April Fool's joke along with a King Kong follow on movie and some scenes from the new War of the Worlds movie!  Too bad!

I seriously dont' think we'll see the hobbit for a few years. Too much greed involved I think and too much money to potentially be made.
I'm still hoping though...

And PJ's April Fool's joke was hilarous! You have to love a director who takes time out to do something like that.  Cool

Well it was a joke but I do think we may see a movie, though with PJs lawsuit against newline may hurt but I think that they will realize it is to much money to be lost for either of them and we will see it, though it will be 2007 or beyond Sad

I believe with reading everything when asked everyone said they would be interested in coming back except hugo Sad

That was a while back so I duno if anything has changed.

Seriously, though - I do hope Hugo changes his mind... he was the perfect Elrond and I can't see anybody else playing that character!
